Bro ive never said recruits dont matter, only argued that coaching is very important as well. Recruiting is not the sole indicator. Coaches bring in the recruits and develop them. Recruiting rankings dont go back that far so hard to really judge what MSU was getting but MSU has never recruited at a high level. Maybe he learned to hire better assistants and not worry about buddies

end of the day top 20 recruiting doesnt = top 20 performance when you have bottom 120 coaching.

He became a new dad as he became Nebraskas head coach. His priorities may have shifted a little, my guess is he does what is less stressful and more gratifying than trying to coach at this level. If it were me and i just wanted to be around the game id find where my family wanted to live and raise a family and then look for something that fits that bill

I think it's a bad one since I backed up my opinion with historical data. Nebraska doesn't have the location, finances, or recruiting ability to be a top program again any time soon. Even if they brought in the next Nick Saban, it would be more like Nick Saban at Michigan state than it would be Nick Saban at Alabama.
