I don't know as that I'd be writing him off.
He took over a bottom feeder program and hasn't won fewer than 7 games since his first season when he won 3. In 2020 they won the Big 12, played in the Fiesta Bowl and finished #9 in the nation. They are currently 2-0 coming off a win over Iowa.
When was the last time Nebraska did any of that?

I know USC was interested in him until he said he "is a Midwest guy" and wasn't interested in living in LA.
Not saying that he's who the Huskers should hire, but they should at least talk to him, imo. They could and have done worse.
