A whole slew of shit is hitting the air about SF after the fact. And here we always wondered why talented players didn’t translate into wins on the field. It appears SF got out of the team exactly what he put into it.

I've been saying for a couple years the players look and act like they put in the bare minimums. I guess they got that from the coach(s).

"Welp. Fall camp is here, I'd better get in shape and start studying the playbook."

That shit don't start in August, it starts in January.
Weight room, training table, film room, 7 on 7's, on your own time.

The coaches have limited access outside of Spring and Fall practices, but nobody's stopping the players from doing things on their own time.

It was also mentioned last week more 1 vs 1s in practice, and Saturday post game Frost said he would pay more attention to the defense. The signs were there in what was said.

I also got the feeling of the only reason we didn't fight frost on contract obligations ($$) was so the next guy feels like it is worth it to try coaching here

It also gives Mickey Joseph extra time to prepare the players for B1G play. Oklahoma is possibly a throw away game at this point. When the big money donor parking lot clears out right after a loss to a “Fun Belt” team it was time to pull the trigger.

I always had a suspicion they weren't doing ones vs ones. Just stupid at college imo. I understand not wanting to get guys hurt but during off season or controlled situations to make people better. If you are beating a crappier second or third stringer, how are you learning to beat the best when you play them?

Our player development has been shit since Solich, maybe pelini did well on some players or should I say positions but our oline hasn't developed anyone in two decades.

Got pretty busy with life stuff. Pretty sure the last time I was posting regularly I hadn’t graduated yet. Now I’ve got a real job, wife and a couple kiddos keeping me busy.
