TV Series Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon

I don't think I would consider him pompous...but I think he regrets how he was with the princess when she was a child. He broke his vows and now he just hates himself for it...and hates her as well.

I was wondering if it was Hightower...but I think if you have him there, you have to put Alicent on there as well since she is very aligned with what Otto wants.

now that Viserys is dead, there is going to be a lot of jocking to determine who gets to sit on the Iron Throne...

Viserys was the good guy...he had morals and lived a good life...basically the baby face of the show.
I don't think Alicent is the big bad here...she hasn't really done anything wrong but wants her sons to sit on the throne...but said Rhaenyra would make a wonderful queen...so does she mean that or is she going to make moves? (she's gonna make moves)

Daemon wants more power so he will push Rhaenyra as well...I'd almost put him as the heel.

This really isn’t the type of story that lays out black hats and white hats clearly, like GoT. And like GoT I expect there to be a few straight to black hats, just not sure I’ve seen them yet.

Daemon has some similarity to Jamie for me. First time we meet Jamie he pushes a kid out a window. And yet, by the end, he had far more complexity to him than I ever would have thought at the start.

I’m getting a feeling Daemon might be like this too, perhaps. He’s been a very intriguing character IMO….not the darkest shade of black on his hat.

Yep, I know. But….first it’s there in GGRM’s writing. Second, HBO is going to play ambiguous with some characters since that worked so well in GoT. I think Daemon is one of those characters.

He was heel #1 long before Rhaenyra birthed her bastards. It became clear & obvious when he pimped out his daughter to Viserys.

There are such teams out there already (greens and blacks). Reddit is full of them already going after each other.
