TV Series Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon

just reading this is pretty interesting. I didn't go into the Dance of the Dragons section though...just spells it all out just a little more.

I want to click on it….but I’m not. Lol

I’ll say this about Alicent….maybe the best comp from GoT is Sansa…..not that there needs to be comps.

She seemed more Margery Tyrell at first, but more Sansa later. She has what she sees as principles, I respect that. And it was a bonus to see her lay into creepo Aegon, but she’s still going to try to put them on top.

Now for a character that feels she is guided by principles that are right and good she is likely going to go strong now that skeletor told her about the song of ice and fire.

He loves Rhaenyra & his children. He'd never kill her.

Look, I've read. I know Daemon's outcome if they stick to the source material. He IS NOT the heel.
I meant the wife he killed with a rock after she fell off her horse

like I said, if you just read the sections before Dance of the Dragons, it goes right up to Viserys death.

just gives you a little more detail on all of it.

Sansa was innocent and abandoned that once she realized how cruel the world is. I don't think Alicent ever saw cruelty on that level. She did however show her teeth with that serving girl that her son fucked. She showed no remorse in killing her because it had to be done.

Oh, that’s right. I forgot it. To be honest, I knew if he said it things weren’t going to go well….I just didn’t expect that so quick. Lol

He let him keep his tongue.

“Say it…” was pure bad ass.
He knew if he said it he was dead. It was knowingly suicidal. I think that is why his mother isn’t overly upset at Daemon. Daemon was the tool, but the trigger was pulled by her son himself.

I didn't pick up on that all that well...what exactly did he say?

oh for sure. The Valeryon dude knew he had dug too deep a hole at that point so he might as well go all in.

I wanted to see Viserys come at him with that dagger.

He mistook her for Rhaenyra and was telling her that it’s the song of ice and fire (white walkers) is why he wants her to take over, that she is strong enough to defeat it.

Did she kill her? I guess it’s possible, but I thought what she had her drink was Plan B tea like they made Rhaenrya drink after she was with Daemon.

But I guess it could have been poison. Alicent is clearly up on the pharmacology of the day.

And Alicent didn’t realize he was talking with Rhaenyra and thought he was talking to her. So when he said he wanted her to “win”, she took that as his death bed decree that her children should take the throne.

Boom. Exactly.

This was a fantastic set up to whats to come.

When is Ezekiel of House Velaryon showing up? He’s their true king.

I discussed this with a friend. I took it as poison.

when the other serving girl asked about her being missing, I took that as meaning she was ded.
