Got to use my pizza oven for the first time yesterday.

Due to another commitment, I was only able to make 1 pizza just to test it out.

Pizza was good, but I figured out a "user error" that will be corrected today as I'll have time to play around with it today. Still have plenty of dough left.

User error was that I didn't allow enough time for the oven to get fully heated. So when I first put the pizza in, it wasn't cooking as quickly as it should have and didn't release off of the pizza peel as quickly as it should have which kept the bottom of the crust from getting as crisp as I like. Then, when it hit full heat, it cooked really fast. If I wasn't right there, it would have burned.

Looks like I'm going to enjoy it though. What should be really fun with it is that, at full heat, pizzas will cook fast enough that I can make individual pizzas for my wife, son and I in less than half the time it takes to cook 1 in a conventional oven. That will save a lot of discussions over toppings. lol

How many people get hit by fucking cars per year do you reckon? I know most aren't moving very fast but that shit still has to happen frequently.

It's probably a lot. 8 million people and 4 million cars, odds are it happens about every 15 minutes
