You do realize, Tennessee's offense would take an ENORMOUS step backwards if Hendon Hooker is hurt and you have to rely on Joe Milton, right? Or are you under the assumption Joe Milton would step into the Tennessee offense and automatically start completing 70% of his passes, while never throwing interceptions like Hooker? This is why you would be like Butch Jones as a coach. Butch thought the same thing in 2016 with Josh Dobbs against South Carolina (he wasn't 100%) and you came out with a big L.
What is Alabama going to do next year without Bryce Young? You need to have all your players ready to go at all times.

Yes, but truly think about that. Unless I completely misunderstood, which is possible -- you said teams have tore up Tennessee passing the ball. Milroe is a running QB. The guy has run for more yards than he has passed for. Saying the offensive performance wouldn't change no matter who is at QB is crazy, especially when the starter is the reigning Heisman winner and the backup has exactly one start under his belt.I told you my opinion of how the game goes. I don't think Alabama's offensive performance is going to change that much no matter who is behind center because I really think they are going to throw the ball on us successfully with any of the QBs. Perhaps you get 2-3 more passes with BY

Do you honestly feel Tennessee's offensive performance wouldn't change if Hooker is out and you have to start Milton?
I can say, you are most likely the only person in America, who thinks Alabama's offense will be the same whether it is Milroe or Bryce Young at QB.We are not talking about Tennessee, we are talking about Alabama. Some of Tennessee's worse losses have been to backup QBs. Notably the 2001 SEC title game.
Anthony Richardson was a running QB as well but he wasn't running much against Tennessee, he was throwing the ball.

It will be a fun game to watch regardless of who is at QB, but I will say this -- if Milroe is the QB, I really like Tennessee's chances. If Young is the QB, I really like Bama to win.
If you think Alabama is going to pile up points with or without Bryce Young -- you are saying the offense will be the same regardless of which QB is under center. You are putting words in my mouth. I said there is more to the game then that. Bryce Young far better with close game but I think Alabama and Tennessee will get in a shoot out either way unless Alabama just controls the line of scrimmage.

I just can't imagine many people feel the same way. I guarantee if you ask Bama fans -- 100% say the offense is exponentially better with Bryce Young at QB. Hell -- they had people calling for Milroe to be pulled from the last game at half time. Now he will be able to put up points with Hooker and Tennesee? I just don't see it.
Will shall see though. Going to be a fun watch.
I understand what he is saying it. Tennessee's pass defense is like 120th in the country, but it's not just about putting up yards but limiting mistakes and Bryce Young is going to make a lot less than Milroe
If Young isn't playing, then I extend my congratulations to Tennessee for their upcoming victory.
If he does play, Bama has a shot.
