Taking away the pick-off move by making the pitcher get off the rubber before throwing to a base… would be a bet gain to baseball.

Because the rules in baseball is if a player intentionally drops a ball when IFR is called then the ump calls time and all existing runners are safe. So your question is dumb, so you are correct in your last statement. You are stupid.

Even if the player drops it, once IFR is called the batter is out and everyone is safe. Drop the ball and the play is dead. Only difference is you look like a moron dropping an easy fly ball.
