Week 7 LOL thread

I ain’t going to defend Riley’s defensive history at all. But stats like that don’t always tell the story. If you score quickly and easily your defense is going to be on the field more.
dude im an oregon fan

My bad I forgot. You shouldbe a fan of a team that puts their defense back on the field quickly because ofconsecutive 3 and outs.
are you still living in week 1.
Oregon is 9th in scoring playing only 6 to a lot of teams playing 7 and laying an egg against UGA.

It sucks for Oregon -- there is essentially no chance of them getting to the CFP, even if they ran the table. Georgia goes undefeated and no chance they put Oregon in at #4 to play them again. If Georgia loses a game -- no chance Oregon gets in with one loss over Georgia after losing to them by 46.

I give props to Oregon fans for still being pumped about the season though.

I wouldn't say no chance. I mean 1% is still a chance

You been spending way too much time having fun ever since you retired, that can't be healthy
Nice to look out my window and see mountains.

But with all the family business I've been dealing with, it's not as healthy as it looks.

Ugh, sorry about that second part, but love hearing about that first part

If the loss wasn't as bad as it was -- I'd agree. Losing by 46, you'd need Georgia to lose twice and knock themselves out of the CFP. Because they won't let those two teams playing again.

So I guess you are right - it isn't 0%, but Oregon would need absolute anarchy to take over CFB and to have all the top teams to lose multiple games.

LOL at anyone that is still on the Pete Golding bandwagon...there is too much talent on our defense for it to be this bad.

Pete Golding is so bad he's making me forget about BOB...at least the offense scored 42 points in spite of him.

LOL at Tennessee soliciting donations to replace their goal posts

I am going to say it and I don't mean it against several of the good Alabama posters on here but I think we just need to laugh out loud at how bad Alabama fans are melting down about this loss:

1. Alabama sucks now
2. Defense sucks
3. Saban lost his coaching ability
4. Refs, refs, refs
5. Tennessee cheated
6. Tennessee bullied our fans after the game
7. We don't storm the field because we are special and we are Alabama
8. You celebrate when you beat us but we treat it every other Saturday when we beat you (not sure about that, but you definitely don't like to lose to us apparently)
9. Almost forgot the ref that celebrated when Tennessee scored conspiracy going on now

They are still in the damn National Title hunt and could even play Tennessee again yet they are melting down at a level that I have never seen before. They lost to Texas A&M last year and there wasn't this meltdown. What changed? Clearly it is related to who they lost to but man it is getting ridiculous at this point.

The elephant (I love the pun) in the room is that they walked into an insanely hostile environment with a fanbase that returned with a vengeance. The team was clearly rattled by it (despite what Saban is saying). Numerous players have referenced it. That led to the 17 penalties, the fumbles/mistakes, breakdowns on defense, etc.

The Heupel offense is real but I think Neyland had more to do with it than anything. Sometimes you just walk into a major ambush. I said the same thing about Oregon with Georgia in their opener. This was a major ambush for Alabama.

So you got an "L". You did around this time last year and still went to play for the title. Jeez...
