It is Mid-October and there are over 10 teams still in serious contention for the Title

Do you really think that I think
I honestly dont, but I was giving you the benefit of the doubt.

As for you and Chewy having a bro affair, I guess thats on you, but if its true, then my original comment back to you should likely stand as thats
Jake Gyllenhaal Love GIF

The funny thing is, I originally asked if you'd told your parents that you're gay, but after re-reading your pee-pee-pants comment, I decided that gay was simply too masculine for you so I edited it to "trans."

Chewy, myself and others, have an absolutely outrageous annual camp out every Labor Day Weekend, but there's never any eye contact, so it's not gay.

Does your ass burn when you arent making eye contact? I would watch some of those guys, especially if they are liberal leaning. Chewy may be ok, though he is from Georgia and you never know about those guys.

Utah was #7, was there another unranked team that beat a top ten 10 out of conference in week 1?

Winning puts you in, and losing puts you out...more so in the early weeks than at any time of year. Look at Notre Dame...started #5, lose 2 including an FCS game and out you go. Same with Oregon, Wisconsin, and Michigan St... one could easily argue why were they ranked so high to begin with. 5 of the pre-season top 10 aren't even ranked anymore.

If the SEC were easy our ranked teams would be losing OOC games...looking at you Michigan State and Wisconsin.

If other conferences want to get the benefit of the doubt their top-half programs should try winning OOC matchups...it helps.

Marshall is G5.

Syracuse v UCLA NCG or rigged

There should be no rankings at all until like week 7 or 8. Then you could more properly assess teams without preseason biases or biases that started with early season wins that end up not meaning much as the season goes along.

You can't tell me Texas A&M losing and looking awful against a App State team that gave up gonzo yards and points to UNC the week before, and staying in the top 25, isnt some kind of SEC bias. For example

If that was the case, Ohio State would be ranked like 9th right now since none of your opponents are over. 500. You guys are getting more love for doing less than anyone. Change your name right now to Iowa or Indiana and Ohio State would be at the bottom half of top ten right now with their resume.

CJ Stroud is leading Heisman watch over Hendon Hooker who just took Tennessee from the desert to beating Alabama and last year's Heisman winner. Don't tell me about SEC media bias.

Sorry that final paragraph just bothers me. I am not saying that you shouldn't be #2, I am just saying Ohio State is getting a lot of love right now for doing very little.

first you figure all the undefeated before any 1 loss. and undefeated that gave 1 loss their 1 loss
so 1-5 in whatever order you have
Clemson (WF), UGA(Oregon), Michigan (Penn State), TCU (OK state), Tenn (Alabama)

then the others
UCLA best win 5-2 Utah and Wash, Ohio State best win 3-3 ND?, Syracuse best win 5-2 NC State and Purdue, Ole miss best win 5-2 Kentucky

ok yeah 9th

I agree, but it will never go away. I can remember 50+ years ago reading Athlon or other similar magazines that had the top 25. It was just as innacurate then, but we as CFB fans love it. And we love to argue over it. It's here to stay, for good or bad. The good thing is that going to a 12 team CFP, it won't matter as much. You will get your shot so long as you don't lose more then 2 games.

With all due respect, you've had the best coaching and have been the Death Star for 15 years. At the beginning of the season everyone was saying that your D was going to be the best ever with what you had returning, and we were going to take a huge step back seeing how we lost 5 D players to the NFL in the first round. So, yeah, I am stepping out on a limb to say that I think we have surpassed Saban in the category of defense.

I'm saying that's not a big brag right now, half the teams in the country are playing better D than us...and I believe we do have the most talent in the country on that side of the ball...that leaves our mediocre FCS level defensive coordinator. We don't have to worry about anybody trying to hire our coordinators away this year, so I guess we have that going for us.

Bama and Georgia are the only SEC teams currently who have earned any benefit of the doubt.

Anyone else not so much.

Cool story bro...

If that's the case then only Ohio State has earned any benefit of the doubt in the B1G.

Enough good jobs you might lose BOB, when you really want to lose Golding.

OHST’s resume is warm, moist dogshit, absolutely. But, uh…Toledo’s actually 5-2, fwiw.

Sorry that final paragraph just bothers me.

Teams like ND, OHST, USC, Wisky, def Miami (FL), Texass, Michigan, are all clearly beneficiaries of some kind of bias in the polls/media. At some point, they’ve all gotten the BotD when they probably shouldn’t have.

But the SEC gets more undeserved bias in their favor than anyone else. At least with conf’s, anyway. Thats not really debatable that imo.

I will respectfully disagree. I have watched CFB for a long time and it was historically the B1G that always got love (especially Michigan and Ohio State). I have seen 3-4 loss Michigan teams in the top 10 in the past. The so-called SEC bias only started around 2006 and it was only because Florida (which the media whined about because they wanted the rematch) got into the BCS title game and blew out Ohio State. That started a streak of SEC National Titles and the media basically had to admit the SEC was the best after that streak.

Prior to that, it was B1G. ESPN signing a contract with the SEC helped as well.

Perhaps I am old school because I remember 1990s and early 2000s with the media always slobbering over the B1G and Notre Dame.

The gag was that if Michigan or Notre Dame started out 3-0 (no matter who they played), they would instantly be in the top 5 no matter were they were ranked going into the season.

Sure SEC gets a lot of love now but they backed it up and have earned it in the past. Take this as an example, in Tennessee's start, they beat Alabama, Florida, and LSU. Those three programs hold 11 of the 21 National Titles this Century. That is basically half the National Titles since 2000 among those 3 programs.

Yep.

Beano Cook couldn't get enough Big 10 and Notre Dame cocks in his mouth.

I always wanted to see him choke on a chicken bone.

And we all get t-shirts afterwards that say, "A Hole's A Hole and All I got Was This Ghey T-Shirt". The t-shirts are what keep us coming back.

No judgment here, sweetie.

Yes, they don't give any benefit of the doubt to any other B1G teams. As they shouldnt.

Teams like Florida Texas A&M and Ole Miss get plenty of benefit of the doubt though. When they've done absolutely nothing to earn it, besides being in the same conference and Bama and UGA.
