Actually what is happening is that you take hungry 18-year-olds and you give them cash as they've never had before and then the hunger and desire to get better disappear in many cases. A huge motivating factor for getting better is gone because they feel like they've already made it and don't understand there is work to be done or they are done.
There shouldn't be "guaranteed money" in the first place. Make them earn it first...
Hope they're socking some of it away (you know they aren't) cuz the taxman will be coming forth soon enough.

What aggy did was bold but if you have a mix of players who come more for the dough.. you need a ringmaster HC that can balance those personalities and mesh with the current team. He seems to have divided them..

no that's if they did it now.. it's like 85 mil after the season.. but they aren't going to fire him, he'll be here next season short of something nuclear happening which would give them an out for his full buyout.
He has a really special playmaking LB committed right now and a really good DT too. They have talent on the offensive side of the ball, weakest unit is the OL but it should not be as bad as what it looks like now despite the injuries. Jimbo has to have a come to Jesus moment after the season in regards to his offense.
