The announcers thought it could've been called. I thought it should've been called. It has to be "forcable contact" ya Dunderhead, lol.
There was nothing forcable about that contact.

Post the video of him getting pushed out by contact. Therefore legal catch.
You also thought it would be 52-17. Excuse us for factoring the value of your own thinking into the equation. The announcers thought it could've been called. I thought it should've been called.
Why do we love college football? Because of the November chaos, because of the unpredictability that on any given Saturday anything can happen. Never say never when it comes to a college football season!
Like when they eeked out that win against Northwestern?#2. Ohio State does not have to beat Michigan convincingly. Win yes, but even by one point is a win.
Going by your scenario, here is how I would expect a 12 team playoff in the proposed format to be
Champs
Georgia (13-0) - SEC
Ohio State (13-0) - B1G
North Carolina (12-1) - ACC
Oregon (11-2) - Pac 12
Kansas State (10-3) - Big 12
UCF (11-2) - AAC
At Large
TCU (11-2)
Tennessee (10-2)
Alabama (10-2)
Michigan (10-2)
Ole Miss (10-2)
USC (11-2)
Seeds
#1 Georgia
#2 Ohio State
#3 North Carolina
#4 Oregon
Top 4 seeds are highest 4 conference champions in the 12-team playoffs that is proposed, not necessarily the case in today's 4-team playoffs.
#5 TCU vs #12 UCF winner faces Oregon
#6 Tennessee vs #11 Kansas State - winner faces North Carolina
#7 Alabama vs #10 USC - winner faces Ohio State
#8 Michigan vs #9 Ole Miss - winner faces Georgia

Respect. They'll be solid #2 in the nation and have an open-and-shut case for their spot. What's going to be your spin if Ohio State beats Michigan?
That's fucked up.You also thought it would be 52-17. Excuse us for factoring the value of your own thinking into the equation.

I tend to agree but you can also rationalize the risk:reward ratio there. And the only reason we're discussing it is because it didn't work. That said, even looking in the rearview mirror, it was a mistake.Lanning is a complete moron for going for it on 4th and 1 where they were with the backup QB. You absolutely punt there. Maybe Washington still wins but they at least have to work for it more.
I gave you love in my thread. This is fucking AWESOME.
Now do Nebraska.
You have just quoted my chosen epitaph. That's fucked up.
Funny, but fucked up.

Not necessarily. If Lanning has no faith in his D, going for it there at least allows them to get the ball back with some time on the clock. i would have punted but I can see why he didn't.I tend to agree but you can also rationalize the risk:reward ration there.
