CFP Rankings Nov. 15

Yeah like they were not winning before Saban:

2006 Florida
2007 LSU
2008 Florida

LSU wins it in 2011 without Saban so that gives them 4. I can see them winning another in that 2012-2016 span without having to compete against Bama in recruiting. Florida wins it in 2009 with Saban and Alabama as well.

LSU MAYBE has 1 more title if Saban isnt around (2011)

This is a fucking stupid argument anyway, lots of teams would win a lot more if they "didn't have to compete in recruiting"

Actually it is very much relevant because LSU would look more like Ohio State or better without Saban's Alabama or other SEC programs in their way. You guys join the SEC and you look more like the Florida or LSU teams you are bashing or better yet NewPhone is bashing.

Your ridiculous argument that Florida, Auburn & LSU deserve respect based on past results and that we should totally ignore their average results of late is just that, ridiculous.

Average results? LSU is raned 6th right now and won a title just 4 years ago. Auburn beat both Alabama and Georgia in 2017 and was competitive until they fired Malzahn. Florida won 11 games just 3 seasons ago.

Of course they can't play world beaters Indiana, Maryland, Rutgers, and Michigan State and rack up 10-11 wins every year.

Without Saban Ohio State wins the 2020 national title.

And if our AD wasnt stupid and sat us out of a bowl game in 2011 with a 6-6 team, instead of putting the probation off until the next year, we win the national title in 2012 (would played ND in the BCS title game instead of Bama)

Let me ask you this Bucknut fan, do you think Ohio State wins in Athens 2 weeks ago when Tennessee played there and do you think Tennessee losses if they have played Ohio State's schedule.

Conferences matter.

Dude Auburn has lost 4+ games in 9 of the last 10 years.

Florida has lost 4+ games in 7 of the last 10 years.

BUT THEY HAD A GOOD SEASON SOMEWHERE IN THERE! Ok.......

I won't lie, I am envious of teams like Clemson and Ohio State. You get to play dog crap teams that can't recruit and are clearly inferior than you. It is like playing Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt 10-11 times a year.

I wish we played teams that threw easy pick 6s in meltdowns like Penn State's Clifford did in a 4th quarter meltdown or a team like Iowa with no QB play. I hated having to play Florida, Alabama, and Georgia every year. You can't beat them in recruiting, you can't do anything. I would rather win games and have media suck up to my team and feel good about it.

They play Alabama and Georgia every year as well as LSU, that is 3 losses for slow Ohio State as well most years.

The old recycled argument as old as time that Auburn or whoever would be in the national title hunt every year if they didnt have to play in the GOT DAMN SEC!!!!

Auburn is out here losing to teams like Miss State, South Carolina, Tennessee when they werent good, Arkansas, Northwestern, Minnesota, Houston. Yet we are expected to believe they are really about as good as Ohio State and their records are only not good because they play in the SEC!!!

2008 is NOT that long ago lol. Florida played Alabama a lot closer than Ohio State did when these teams matched up.

I cannot believe you guys throw stones at schools that beat you and won titles.
15 years is 5 different Florida coaches ago. So tell everyone again how that pertains to now?

His logic seems to be that nobody should dog on Florida for being nothing more than ok-average the last decade because of their success 15+ years ago. We are just supposed to ignore not so great results of late for them and Auburn and RESPECT! Lmao.

I'm not bashing Florida and LSU. I'm just saying they aren't on the level of Georgia, Bama, OSU in recruiting. LSU has a legit shot to be a top team if they find the right coaching combination, but you are talking like catching lightning in a bottle from Joe Burrow transferring in is normal.

It isn't normal to have a QB transfer in and win the heisman. It is the same reason I told you this is the year for Tennessee, because their QB play will drop significantly next year.

Florida is another school if they find the right coach COULD be a top program. Are they right now? No. Have they been a top program for the last 10 years? No. They haven't been a top program since Urban left.
