Week 12 Predictions:

Washington State 34 Arizona 24
Oregon State 35 Arizona State 24
California 28 Stanford 24
UCLA 35 USC 34
Washington 49 Colorado 14
Utah 34 Oregon 20

Line is now Utah -1. I still think that's the best bet for the week, followed up with Wazzu -4.

Utah -2 now. I guess Vegas is adjusting for the Nix news. I still like the Utah bet unless it goes way up.

I wouldn't touch UW and the points myself. DeBoer is an idiot of he doesn't go full 2nd string mid way 3rd with at least a 3 score lead. They are so thin and young at so many positions that they need the game time experience.

I'd love to see Sam Huard, but would expect they will put Morris out.

I know the buffs are really bad, but just boat racing them doesn't do anything for player development.

I also won't touch that duck game. I don't trust that Nix is actually out. One WR saying it while coach is saying Nix is practicing as though he will go and is more game time decision.

If they do let him go in sure you won't see the same reckless QB running. So he may be a bit more limited.

Still, a wounded Ducks team mad that they blew their playoff dreams that still has NY 6 bowls in sight and a lot of revenge for last year is too dangerous for me to bet against.

I wouldn’t touch the UW line. Seems like it could be a classic let down game. Not enough for CU to win but a 38-17 game wouldn’t shock me either.

As for Nix, I don’t believe he’s 100% based on what I’ve been told. He may try to play through the it but an injured Nix is still a diminished team. With a healthy Nix, I only had Oregon as a very slight favorite. Utah is the easy pick when you know Nix isn’t 100%

The Beavers are out of PacN jail again!
On ESPN2 today @ Arizona State.
Fork 'em Beavers!

Yeah, I read that and first thought was why did they drop divisions again? Some seriously stupid rules here.

As bad as this is they could have just taken the highest ranked 2.

That would encourage bad OOC scheduling.

If they were going to drop divisions, they shouldn't have based the schedules on divisions. I said that from the beginning and had some people push back against it. Never made sense

When you are down to some convoluted 4th step that feels pretty arbitrary, it just feels like a joke.

Hopefully Oregon wins and/or Washington loses so it doesn't matter ;)

Still a chance for the Ducks to collect the RENT from this conference.

Oregon/USC is what the PAC has needed for 10 years. Enjoy this. It's good for the conference.

Boooohooo maybe don't lose to ASU
jfc, normal people don't view all opinions just through their team. I don't care which team ultimately goes. The process is the point.

I just wanted to see UW flip from 4-8 to 8-4 in year 1 of a new staff and we got that. Everything else is just icing at this point.

The fact it could come down to a game with teams already out that could lead to Utah getting it after just losing this week seems dumb.

That has zero to do with UW

This my crow post for Usc. I had them losing to utah ucla and nd and 1 other they shouldnt. Instead they lost to utah but managed to pull out wins against ucla and close games that could have gone the other way like oregon state. We'll see about nd next week. But even still i didnt see 4 wins to 10 happening. I didnt see a conference championship game. I didnt see a shot at the playoff. I was wrong.

So if UCLA beats Cal on Friday, that closes UW’s path to the CCG.

Close. But it sounds like there’s a path if ucla wins and Colorado upsets Utah (lol)

Maybe I wasn't clear enough, but there is no realistic path for UW to be in it, nor has there been for weeks. At least since week 6. Period. None of my comments on how stupid the current system is has a thing to do with UW or their slot within the conference. They blew it long ago and we have been long since over it.

Having to rely on the outcome of 3-4 different games makes it nearly impossible. It's as stupid as OD claiming there is a viable path to the playoffs for the Ducks.

I doubt UW would beat USC as it is so trying to push for ways to get them there isn't necessary. I'm not sure they beat WSU this week. UW's defense is just not good and hasn't been good all year.
