I really can't comment because I wasn't around then but it is kind of classless to continue on and on about a team you have beaten 5 straight years. I can understand directly after the loss but the obsession has been going on ever since Tennessee beat Alabama.

Granted, we had a lot of bandwagon hoppers when we got hot this year that were very obnoxious.

You had to have seen how much shit Tennessee fans were talking on Reddit and Twitter leading up to the UGA this year. It started immediately after y’all beat Bama

I don’t mind the shit talking, I think it’s good for the game, but if you’re gonna talk shit before the game, you better be ready to get a lot more back if you don’t win

I saw some of it but there was also UGA fans saying we don't stand a chance, no way we should be #1, etc.

No one (not even the most aggressive Tennessee fans) thought we were actually the best team, I think the argument was that with the schedule we should be #1.

However, even I was surprised with how bad Tennessee performed in Athens. Granted, shame on me because Tennessee has a history of choking in big-time matchups and I should have expected that choke. We are not a good enough program yet to get over choking or frankly to even finish a season strong apparently.

You play a 12-game season, we haven't figured that out yet. It isn't just the players either, the fans jumped on it quickly as well.

Well to be fair, the only chance y’all had was us laying an egg. If both teams brought their A game, TN wouldn’t have a chance

It wasn’t a choke. Y’all were near double digits underdogs and 3-0 was the only lead y’all had the entire game. A choke requires losing to an inferior team or blowing a big lead.

I had LSU fans ask me about the rankings yesterday at church. my response was simple. I won't be checking them.

win out and LSU is probably/maybe in .. ill give in 50/50


The big question is - will the loser of tOSU or Mich make it (biasedly I think they should as they could be any of the other 1 loss contenders).

I think Tennessee was a bit ahead of schedule this year. They are a top 10 team no doubt but I don't know about top 4 level

I get what you are saying and it is hard talking about this with Georgia fans but Tennessee just played like they were not ready for that kind of environment. It isn't a cut at Georgia, it is focusing on Tennessee. You can tell they were not ready to be the hunted and were used to being the underdog.

It is an entirely different animal to be #1 and hold off the hunters than being the underdog and going after the hunted. This is why Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State deserve mad respect.

True, I know it looks bad but that Maryland win was still HUGE for you guys. Maryland is a lot better than a 6-5 team. They had athletes in the secondary, a mobile and talented QB, and some great wide receivers. This is something that other B1G teams that you played with better records did not have.

Also, it was a potential trap game with everything for you guys to lose. Definitely a great game for growth. That is a game a program like Tennessee would definitely have loss.

The OSU-Mich loser won’t get in if everything else stays the same. If USC is a one loss conference champ, they’re in.

The OSU-Mich loser probably needs a TCU and a USC loss.

But there’s a non zero chance that the playoffs will be LSU-UGA-OSU-Michigan

Agree. B1G runner-up will get in if LSU goes down and 2 of the 3 (USC, TCU, and Clemson) lose.

As crazy as that sounds, that is a very plausible outcome.

I think the B1G has a decent shot to get 2 teams.

My concern is Day trying to force hobbled Henderson and Williams vs Michigan. Henderson was clearly not ready to be out there and he kept trying to go with him way too much.

At this point they should just play Hayden, he looks like he can get the job done and is 100%. We probably easily beat Maryland on Saturday if we just rolled with him all game instead of trying to jam a clearly gimpy Henderson in.

Stroud has really struggled the last 3 games too, he needs to pull his head out of his ass. I know he had 5 TD passes against Indiana but he was only 17/28 for 297 yards. It wasn't as good looking as the stat sheet either.

I've posted this before and I will each time you post this nonsense. You didn't choke ... you got your ass handed to you by a team superior to your team in every aspect. We were 1 and 2 in offense, but we were 2 in defense and you guys were like 80th. What happened is what most people that actually followed this thought would happen ... you went up against a great D and we stopped your O cold. Meanwhile, our great O destroyed your D. You didn't choke, and you didn't lay an egg. You got soundly whipped by a better team. Come to grips with that and move on.
