Fickle is the new Wisconsin head coach

You have yet to address 1-4.
Props to Nebraska. I know the Carolina Panthers fans are blowing up social media laughing at Nebraska, but they feel they found their guy and hope it works for them. Reminds me of MSU's desperation with the 8 year deal they gave him, but I think he will get Nebraska back to being competitive in the B1G West.

Note this..

"will be world beaters in no time. Nebraska is back"

WhoPhoneDis (a.k.a. TrustMeIAmRight) is the only one here ever saying that.

Nebraska lives rent free in his empty cranium.
Congrats on possibly being competitive in the B1G West. Is that better?

Fickell didn’t accomplish anything at Cincy that Brian Kelly didn’t do
That if false. Kelly took Cincy to the Orange Bowl and got slaughtered by ND. They were in the top 10 once during Kelly's regime. Fickell has had them in the top 10 3 times during his tenure. Should have beaten Georgia in 2021 Peach Bowl, last year they were back against Bama in the Cotton Bowl.

Even if he does have success, he gone to Ohio St if that job opens up.
That will not happen. There is zero love between Fickell and OSU. He was treated poorly by OSU when he was the interim and got a raw deal by Urban Meyer even after he agreed to remain on staff

It’s not false, Cincy was still in the Big East when Kelly was there and lead them to back to back BCS bowl losses, which is what Fickell has done, and he had to go through major programs like WV, Louisville, Syracuse and Pitt to get there

Pitt and Syracuse were not major programs then nor now. Kelly was great during his time at UC. But the same can be said for Dantonio and Butch Jones

Yes they were then and they still are now. The Big East was an AQ conference during the BCS era

I didn't say that. You are not correct but bend over and we can smash
AQ conference = major conference

It’s just a statement of fact, not even up for debate, but if I took a notion, I’d bend you over and fuck you in the ass and there wouldn’t be a damn thing you can do to stop it

I guess McIntosh is trying to put his own imprint on the program. Trying to move on from 30 years of Alvarez type ball and into the modern era. We'll see if it works or not.

Now, I will say that Fickell has done a great job at Cincy and the situation isn't that much different as UW doesn't recruit top 10 or even to 30 classes on an annual basis. What they do recruit is the hippo's from Wisconsin, Illinois and Minny to play o and d line, then try to get athletic ability other places. The program is built on getting guys in and getting them bigger and coaching them up, basically the same as Cincy. Again, we'll see...
I think the schedule sets up nicely for him to have some success early too. I think it’s a great fit.

Thank you for attempting to mansplain football to a guy who is probably twice your age and played football in college and coached.

As I mentioned, we'll see. It's a whole new system on O for sure and probably on D as well. The team has always kind of been about upperclassmen playing and learning the system and being ready to play. I'm not going to have any over the top (think OD) expectations for next year...I'll just act like I'm from Missouri

With 10 of 11 starters returning on offense, I think he may be stuck coaching to his personnel. I think the key will neing his asst coaches coaching up what is already there. The wholesale changes will start in Year 2

As I said -- ONLY a Nebraska fan would be trying to sell a coach based on his losses.

How is this -- you guys will be world beaters in no time. Nebraska is back. You will own your big time rivals, Iowa and Wisconsin, now.

You want to know why Nebraska will never be nationally relevant? I am having a conversation with a Georgia fan right now about recruiting.

In 2019-2022 alone. Georgia has signed 18 five star recruits and 43 top 100 nationally recruits. You think Nebraska is going to compete with that? :pound: As I said -- you will be competitive in the B1G West. Nebraska will NEVER be able to recruit with the top teams.
Your prediction fell flat on its face, and you come out looking like a clown. Just own up to it and move on
