Happy/sad milestone? My son is moving out today. It's so weird.

I'm kind of dreading that phase of life. It's why we parent, to create independent people to go do good things... or at least things. But I don't want my babies to live somewhere else! Daughter graduates a year early this spring. Says she wants to live with us through undergrad and then move when it's time for medical school. But I have a feeling she'll want more "space" before that even.
Just bag work for now, would like to get into sparring once I feel like I've done it enough.Actual sparring or just bag work? Either one can kick your ass. I've been think of buying a heavy bag again.
It feels off. Today could actually be payday. I thought it usually coincided with my rent payment - you know... the money comes in and goes right back out, but I recently had a small cash infusion so when i checked my balance yesterday, I couldn't tell if I got paid last week or if i'm going to get paid this week. I'll do that whole timecard thing later today to make sure. This is an improvement. There were times you didn't know if you needed to submit the thing or not.
We can spar right now, you lil' bech.Just bag work for now, would like to get into sparring once I feel like I've done it enough.
Bag work alone has been a good (and honestly fun) workout.
Happened pretty fast over here. He got his acceptance letter for the academy, that starts next month. He told me was looking for houses to rent a week later. one week later he proposed to his girl. She already has her masters, and they are in much better shape than we were starting out. I still think he should have waited til he got through the academy, but I already know, and have been trying to explain it to my wife, the more we push against their decisions at this point, the more they will pull away. So, go with the flow now. Except for her, she wont let anything go. hahaI'm kind of dreading that phase of life. Am I supposed to be reinvesting dividends or cashing them out?
We got one for the boy a couple years ago, and he and I both use it pretty frequently. Great outlet for my rage.Actual sparring or just bag work? Either one can kick your ass. I've been think of buying a heavy bag again.

Daughter moved to a dorm this fall over in Manhattan. She's just a 15-20 minute train ride away but it's still hard.
