Meatchicken is fucked..... gonna lose to purdue now

That sucks, don't think Purdont will be much of an issue but don't see UM catching lighting in a bottle twice this season without Corum. Damn

Maybe McCarthy can have 12 completions for 300 yards and 3 TDs again

Do you think Purdue is going to run cover 0 the whole game? That would help.

There were multiple plays where we didn't run cover 0 and the defensive backs still were lost.

Our running came can survive without Corum, but it's still a huge bummer. The dropoff between Corum and Gash/Stokes is pretty apparent. There were a couple Stokes runs against OSU where he could have busted a huge run and either got tripped up or missed his cutback. Hard not to look at those and think "if only that was Corum instead." Hopefully we can refrain from having to use Edwards too much against Purdue and get him fully healthy for the playoffs.

I predicted this in the Blue Plate Special. You guys just don’t like money.

They weren't beating Georgia with Corum so in the grand scheme I guess it doesn't matter. They will beat Purdue and possibly beat TCU. I don't think they can beat USC w/o Corum

I actually think, if Edwards can heal his thumb by then, he poses a bigger threat with his pass-catching ability than Corum might in that specific matchup.

You mean just the defensive backs, right? Don't think you want them to have Eichenberg or JT
You can send them all, as long as they continue to play the ridiculous defensive game plan OSU used against Michigan last week.

Depending on how this is handled, it may be worse . . .

I'm just here for the comments about why it took 2 months for charges to be filed.

It’s still on the front fucking page, lazy ass.

Purdue's defense is not very great, but I doubt theyll constantly go cover 0 and rush everyone toward the middle every play like we did.

McCarthy is still shaky when he has to throw into actual coverage and not exclusively to wide open guys down field. Theyll need Donovan Edwards to have a nice game.

Better DB play and that scheme may have not looked so ridiculous.

Crazy to think about. If I said before that game I could look into the future and Ohio State was going to have 196 yards passing and 126 yards rushing while holding Michigan to 1 rushing yard in the first half you might not have turned on the game

McCarthy was still only 12/24. He made a handful of throws to wide open WRs that most D1 QBs make as well. That was the difference. Some people want to pretend he played some out of his mind game and is now on track for a Heisman in 2023 though. Ill give him credit for not fucking up, but im not gonna praise him for making easy throws that 90% of D1 QBs make easily as well.

Purdue's secondary is not good either, but bet your ass their game plan against a Corumless Michigan offense is a lot better than ours. I suspect McCarthy will have to actually make some good throws into tighter coverages in this one. As stated above, they are gonna need Edwards to show out.
