Well. Once again, the inability to finish is the big difference. Our 1 goal was pretty lucky.

Pulisic in the 3rd minute, Ream on the Corner, Wright on the giveaway. Needed those and didn't get them.
 
Sloppy and lazy effort today, particularly on defense. Pretty much 3 WIDE OPEN goals for the Dutch.

That coupled with the 2 GIFTS that they failed miserably on, particularly the Wright gift...that was just awful.

They are a better team than they showed today, which makes it that much more frustrating to watch.

Good article. Hinting Berhalter is not the guy going forward maybe, He has coached them to do the easy part, but not the hard part: goal scoring ... which they are completely inept at. This team not like 2010 team where there were 2 goal scorers far superior to anyone on this team: Donovan and Dempsey. Need someone who can develop a center forward and improve the others (wingers) who can't score is the only priority for 2026. If Berhalter can't do it, then get someone else in soon.

Also, guys, especially Tyler Adams, saying they could hang with the bigs boys. Uh no. For all that possession (which Van Gahl allowed) and is a strength, you ( and I talking about you Tyler Adams) fell asleep on the first goal..and then Dest (not playing for the Dutch and now ypu know why) second goal... and then 3rd goal where there was no communication. The big boys don't fall asleep and talk on the field. I am pretty sure Virgil Van Dyke and Nathan Ake were talking the entire game.

I like Dest, but his D on that goal was pretty bad.
 
It is too early on the tournament for France vs England. That should be a semi-final or final. The winner of that makes the final imo.
