Did anyone see Ohio State made the CFP?

I used Allen in a sense that he can escape the pocket and yet is likely slower than CJ. I get that Allen's build allows him to be more reckless challenging tackles though.

CJ can escape sacks just fine really its just bizarre how he won't tuck and run....ever

I'm not expecting a bunch of designed runs like JT did...even though CJ runs dam near the same 40 and is a hair bigger
How could you forget about our future All-Pro TE Penei Sewell

“There’s NO WAY Ohio state is going to make the CFP. I mean, they didn’t even win their division!”

That was pretty funny

You guys look good lately

Dan Campbell may be the guy?
It is possible, but I think the more important guy is our GM. He has continue to make draft picks and trades that have added to our team. It has been a LOOOOOOONG, LONG time that Detroit has had later round draft picks performing like they have. Amon Ra St. Brown was a 4th round pick. He is one of the top 10 WR's in football right now. Kerby Joseph was a 4th rounder and he has forced 6 or 7 turnovers in the last 9 games. Malcolm Rodriguez was like a 6th round pick. James Houston was a 7th round pick from a FCS program.

So many young guys contributing. Now with the Stafford trade -- we should get a top 3 pick from St Louis, unless fucking Baker Mayfield does stupid shit again and has a miracle comeback, to go along with our pick.

Do they stand pat with Goff or go QB?

That's usually more effective against Saban's/Kirby's defenses. See Johnny Manziel types. Gotta be able to throw it a little though.

And Manziel had Evans so that helped.
You would have to show me the QB that has caused problems for us because of their running. For the most part, for running QBs we control the pocket and press in don't let them get out as much. Just hasn't really been a problem for our D which is designed to stop the run. Plus our ILBs typically have the speed to keep up with the QBs.

Rodriguez was a standout on that show

We should easily have JSN and Trey available. Both situations were handled horrendously.

Looks like Michael Hall has been handled equally badly as well. They are saying he "MIGHT" be able to be close to 100% for the UGA game.

He was beat up a lot of the later part of the season but they kept trying to put him in at points instead of just letting him sit and heal to 100

Speaking of DTs, what happened to Tyliek?

Seems like he just fell out of favor in the rotation for some reason, he had a pretty good game against Penn State but other than that was largely invisible this year.

I think we got kinda blinded by his big performances in garbage time last year against scrubs like Akron and Tulsa.

I'm wondering what this defense is gonna look like next year. I know JTT, Sawyer, Hall, Chambers, Ransom will all be back playing important roles. I think Caden Curry is gonna be a fantastic piece as well. Hoping to see much more of Hicks and Styles back there, they seem to be great potential fits. I'm sure there are several guys that are in the portal currently that will be here as well
