Nope, it is absolutely just a coincidence. Nothing to see here.
You think his probation conviction is going to matter if it happened before the bowl game?
How is it special treatment? People keep saying this without evidence to suggest this is abnormal? It's a bad look either way. Special treatment for Michigan football players.

You might be able to suggest the DA connected to the University might have special treatment, but now you're suggesting the entire system is altering this, including the courts? That's not how that works.
No, the court date already happened (he plead down to a misdemeanor). His sentencing was bumped, thats it. And he's almost certainly just going to get probation. So I ask again, why would probation change his playoff status in any way? Given the timeline of all of this taking place, ALL of it's going to be at or around certain things happening in the season no matter when it actually occurs.Michigan football player in trouble in Ann Arbor and the court date is conveniently moved until after the CFP. Come on man lol, it's blatantly obvious.
No one should ever claim that Michigan football players are "held to a higher standard!' ever again. But of course they will continue to do so.

You keep saying that without evidence. This isn't a giant conspiracy where all the courts are magically helping Jim Harbaugh. No it wouldn't. But like I said, it blatantly shows special treatment for Michigan football players in Ann Arbor.
No wonder they are always able to so quickly sweep things under the rug and continue their choir boy charade.
It wasn't. It's even less serious than we originally thought. The gun wasn't even loaded as we originally thought, the charge was because the ammunition was "accessible" to the gun; IE within reach.Meh. It sounds like what he did wasn’t really that serious.
Replace UM with Alabama, Florida, FSU, OHST, Texas, LSU, Clemson, OU, etc. and there’s a good chance the charges would’ve been dropped already.

But that's just because we want maximum destruction of your program, not because our opinion in the matter would be a valid assessment of the situation or fair punishment.Michigan fans would be calling for removal from the team or at minimum suspended indefinitely if it were a Ohio State player with the same charges.
But Like I said, they have a fake choir boy image to maintain, so they pretty much act like Mazi is the victim and that anyone who wants him to be punished at all "JUST IS TRYING TO RUIN A YOUNG MANS LIFE!"
It's joke.
After delaying it two months and after the Ohio State game to charge him.Michigan football player in trouble in Ann Arbor and the court date is conveniently moved until after the CFP. Come on man lol, it's blatantly obvious.

Because charging him right before the B10 title game is a lot less impactful than before 4-8 Indiana? The worst times to charge him during the season would have been before Ohio State and before the B10 title game. So this argument simply doesn't hold up to me.After delaying it two months and after the Ohio State game to charge him.

Dude, you were playing Purdue in the championship game. Purdue. It’s not like they were even a threat.Because charging him right before the B10 title game is a lot less impactful than before 4-8 Indiana? Michigan State under Dantonio literally played a kid basically straight out of an actual jail sentence without penalty.Zero suspension at all. I can think of multiple instances where Ohio State players were suspended for much less, and a big stink was still made about it.
This get's quietly swept under the rug though so Michigan can continue it's high and mighty charade.
