GAME FIESTA SEMI: #3 TCU vs #2 Michigan • espn • 2MT

as good as Edwards is, Michigan should have changed their running scheme to compliment him. he just doesn't have the physical build of Corum or Haskins. He shouldn't be running up the middle on a regular basis.
What sucks is -- the PERFECT back to face that defense was on our sideline on crutches. A guy who hits the hole hard, has great vision and is tough to bring down. Edwards isn't a break tackle type of RB.

hell, they wasted 2 minutes of clock time in that last touchdown drive just running uselessly up the middle.

he could always bulk up ala Corum, but he'd be sacrificing some of that killer speed. I'd prefer to use him in a RB duo and get him more involved in the passing game. it's too bad he had the hand injury or we probably see him get way more targets
The fact we had to rely on a LB moved over to RB for the last 3 games of the year -- UM isn't too confident in the RB's we have outside of Corum and Edwards.

What sucks is the amount of things that went wrong in order to lose that game. Scoring a50 points and losing is rough. TWO picks sixes. A touchdown reversed on us. A failed goal line stand. One thing goes different and we win.

Ambiguous low bar you set for your argument. What a chump.

The true and only valid side is to get rid of it completely because all tackles lead with the head because that’s how moving forward with the human body works.

And there’s tons of ppl supporting individual targeting calls under this rule. It’s all over the thread

Well clearly our definition of support is different. One can say "hey that is targeting under the current rule" and still hate the current rule

Yep -- definitely. It was just a fitting end after the overturned TD turned into a fumble and no points. Then the 2nd overturned TD. And the pick six. And the other pick six. UM shot themselves in the foot too much to win this game, but the refs definitely didn't help much either.

In the end -- TCU played a great game and they deserve the win.

Unfortunately, I was out eating dinner and only caught parts of the game so I missed the officiating issues.

Yes. You want to set up on your side of the argument that if anyone disagrees at all with the totality of the instantiating of the current rule, you win the argument. And I’m here to clearly point out that’s a sissy move. And furthermore, you know it

Twice UM had touchdown catches called TD's on the field and twice they were overturned. The first one, they spotted it on the 1 inch line and UM proceeded to fumble the snap and ended up with a turnover and 0 points.

No one cares about JT Barrett anymore now that UM owns OSU. I agree with Roman Wilson and the targeting being missed.

If that wasn't targeting -- I'd love to know why it wasn't. My man led with the crown of the helmet to the back of the guys head. I know WHY they didn't call it, but that was blatant.

And the Roman Wilson call -- There was about 2 dozen NFL players including Patrick Mahomes who called out the overturned TD as BS. So it isn't only a Michigan thing. That was a brutal call, but UM needed to overcome it and get the 1/2 yard for a TD, instead they fumbled. That is on them, not the refs.

Even I was like… that’s targeting, bruh.

No one? That was just posted on Mgoblowme.com by one of your compatriots.

I think it was targeting, btw. JT wasn't short. I missed the TD that was overturned but it looked in replays I have seen that it should have been a score.

Life sucks sometimes.

I love MGoBlog, but the comment section/forums can be cancer sometimes. I go there for the Seth/Brian/Alex content.

It is what it is. No big deal. Life goes on. My little guy was so upset at the end, but it was a good life lessons for him.

yeah, it was a disappointing loss but it doesn't come remotely close to 2006/16/18 OSU, 2001/15 MSU or The Horror for me.

It's been really difficult for me to even think about football this week - pipes froze on Christmas eve and burst the next day.

We are blessed. We drove 10 minutes up the road to my son's house. There were people here in warming centers in sub-zero temperatures who had to go elsewhere because power was lost.

After your team lost, I'm good with whatever happens in the OSU game. Winning would be fun but if it doesn't happen, I'm good with it as long as you guys didn't.

This was pretty much perfect for me because my great hope is that your team loses every game on the worst call in the history of calls. Seems like many fans feel that way.

I have no issue with it. Wish the rush defense would have shown up. Michigan needs to add some more talent on the defensive side. I like where we are offensively, but would like to see us get a game changer at WR for the first time in a long time. Xavier Worthy was a huge miss by us.

I think they also tipped off their blitzes

The game is unimportant, but fun!!!! .... Health, Family, Spirt and Home are the important things.
