So as I've stated all along..... TX/OU will not be going to the SEC until the GOR expires in July 2025.

no, they will leave one season early in 2024.. just as SC/UCLA begin BiG play and the CFP expands to 12 schools.. I think most of the other schools know this as well and want the home matchups now rather than them being tentatively scheduled for '24

You've been wrong every step of the way since the initial announcement in 2021, but suddenly you're right on Jan 3, 2023 even though OU's 2024 Big 12 schedule was announced for 2024.

I'd actually love to see them go in 2024 and have their athletic departments take the $55 million+ haircut per the GOR.

again it's not the money.. when has the big12 said you gotta pay it all or nothing? they haven't..theres been multiple reports that you say are spam, but McMurphy and others have said.. it's TV inventory.. which talks are going on with ESPN and FOX

The B12 is not stopping Texas and OU from leaving as long as the GoR Stays in the B12. Texas and OU know they can’t do that nor do they want to take the 50 something million dollar hit.

ESPN is working to make some sort of arrangement. I mean why would it be money for Texas when we buy out and hire coaches all the time?

He is right that Fox is causing the issues and not Big12 based on all of the rumors. Big12 is fine with moving them out now that they have salvaged their league by adding the 4 G5 powers.

bro it's FOX.. they want their inventory.. they know that the new 4 teams aren't doing anything for them.. That's why one of the negotiating things is talks of UT and ou playing an OOC game vs a current Big12 school for the next 5 or 6 seasons. SEC is not going to want to have their schools play UT or ou on FOX.. thus the negotiating.. if it were money, it would have already been done
