i just don't think we don't have the depth in the rotation to win

Soroka going down and Hamels being a brittle bitch were tough breaks

Hamels looked pretty done to me towards the end last year, not sure how much help he would have been if healthy. King Felix opting out sucked, because he really looked promising in spring training, and Soroka going down was a killer. Really, regardless of how this season ends, I'm proud of the way the team has played this year. Folty and Newk get demoted for being terrible, our ace tears his achilles, not many teams are making it this far with all of that happening.

But we're guaranteed another Fried start, and if he shines again, we get another Anderson start. Until they beat Fried or Anderson, we're in this thing.
 
Well, this is over so I can check out the CFB game also....without having to worry about missing much.

The Dodgers pitching depth is supposed to be a strength. The Braves spent the first couple of games disproving that. I don't have the faith that they will hold up that others do.

I'd love to be wrong though.

Y'all have a big advantage the next two games. Buehler and Gonsolin don't scare me with Fried and Anderson facing them though.

This season only being 60 games is the only reason this was possible. It would have been impossible to go 162 the way we went 60 with the rotation. Our pen would have been fried before the ASB.
 
It would be nice to have Chip in the booth telling us that this team always gives you a fight until the last out.
