Not even J-Lo's somehow still scrumptious looking ass could drag this piece of garbage up to a 3. Constantly checking how much time was left, one or two chuckle moments but not quote worthy, I don't mind impossible plot lines as long as they are funny or captivating but this felt like nothing more than a "hey, look at us, remember we are actors" cast and delivery.

Excellent film and pretty graphic. German film overdubbed in English. Can barely tell they are not speaking English.

Crap. I was looking forward to watching this, like it was gonna be stupid funny and awesome.

Just an incredibly good romcom. Amy Adam’s heads to Ireland and finds herself and love. Not tropesy or cliche.

Didn't hate it. Didn't love it. Was engaging and kept my attention. The basic premise is a bit flawed. No spoilers. 6.5

Liked it a lot.

Would have been even better without Anna Paquin.
 
MK Ultra

Found this one on Prime. Stars Anson Mount as a doctor running LSD tests on “troubled” people, funded by the CIA.

No point to this movie at all. I have no idea how “real” this movie is (yes, I am well aware of “MK Ultra”), but this movie was slow with no real story. It was just the doctor, basically in his lab, giving a bunch of dupes drugs. Very low production value. Seems like it was just a low-level cash grab attempt at using the name “MK Ultra”.

A movie that was waiting to see......was wondering how good ut was gonna be.........Shymalan movies usuaĺly are kinda dumb for me......

Didn't realize it was overdubbed. i thought it was sub-titles which I hate. Maybe I'll give it a try.

Saw the cast Jonah Hill (I generally like his roles), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (great in Seinfeld and Veep), Eddie Murphy (nuff said), Nia Long (yummy) and figured I'd give it a shot.

It's not good. Very cliché, not really funny, tried too hard. And Jonah Hill looks like a fat Charlie Hunnam (Jax from SoA).

actually I enjoyed it...some very funny humor in there.


plus watching the woke assholes get uncomfortable is always fun.

What a weird fucking movie. In some dystopian future Colin firths wife leaves him and he ends up at a hotel where he and other singles have 45 days to find a mate or be turned into the animal of their choice.
