Ah, forgot they had the Rams pick. Yeah, so hope someone takes Levis and Stroud could be there. That would be a perfect situation for him.
.r more equity
We have 5 or 6 picks in the 1st 80 picks or something ridiculous. If Stroud falls to Detroit -- I could see them drafting him and letting him sit for the 1st year.

If not -- the Lions will be selecting defensive players with each and every pick. I think Stroud will be the only guy who could get us to draft a player on offense. We still have Jameson Williams we drafted last year who missed almost the entire year -- so we already have another weapon to add to the offense.

They definitely have the chance to really start building something up there

They have guys who are free agents who said they'd take less money to stay in Detroit. NEVER IN MY LIFE have I heard a player say that.

It is like the Twilight Zone -- fans don't know how to act, as we are simply used to it being the "Same Ol' Lions".

The next Brian Hartline but with Linebackers?
I'm glad he'll have some vets like Tommy and Steele around to help ease him in a bit. I'm much more interested in seeing how things go with guys like Kourt, Melton, Carrico, Powers, and Hicks as the next group up.

That midwest division is hot garbage.
That's a joke. East is far and away the worst. You would literally never see anyone outside of Penn St or Ohio St at the top. All the others have at least a semblance of parity. If MSU doesn't get its shit together, the central could look similar.

Sure, but PSU and especially OSU are nationally elite teams. There's not a single team in the midwest that would actually compete nationally on a regular basis. Every other division has a team that should produce a team to compete nationally every year, if not two.

Nebraska will be lucky to get to a bowl game for the first time since the Obama administration. Wisconsin is going through a coaching change and likely to a new style of football for the first time in a half century. Who knows how that will play out, but even at their best Wisconsin is just a decent top 10/15 team. Certainly nothing elite. That division has no team that will regularly be in the top 10. All other divisions have at least two who will do that any given year.

The highest rated team in that Midwest
division last season was outside to the top 25 with minny receiving 35 votes...but Nebraska fans want to pretend they are still superior to rutgers and Maryland

Or somehow there are two teams in that division equivalent to Ohio State/Penn State, Michigan/ND or Oregon/USC/UCLA -- literal nonsense

Nebraska a top 15 team? Next year? Are they dropping to FCS or Div2 next year?

How often has Minnesota finished a season in the top 25?
