Personally, I think all championships in all sports should be dropped after 5 years. You worry at all about the past it means you’re not focused near enough on the present or future.Won't drop at all however Georgia should vacate their last two titles and possibly next year's if they do it again
that would be the worst lawsuit.. the daughter was DRUNK and was part of a race.. she lost control and took not only her life but another person.. But let's blame the other racer who made every turn?It will all depend on whether the charges get bumped up to vehicular homicide. There is case law that would indicate that the non-crash car in a racing situation can get the book thrown at them. This is sort of like the women shot by the Bama player and her 5 year old son. The worst thing that could happen would be to take the NFL away from Carter. Let him get drafted, and then let him pay some of those millions to the family of the other player killed. The drive, she blew a .197 ... she's toast.
I specifically said, even though misspelled, " The drive, she blew a .197 ... she's toast."that would be the worst lawsuit.. the daughter was DRUNK and was part of a race.. she lost control and took not only her life but another person.. But let's blame the other racer who made every turn?
how can they sue Carter when it wasn't him who was driving? Is there a law in GA that makes him culpable? Like why did he let the young lady drive if she was drunk? Was she lesser drunk than the OL player? Did they do toxicology reports on him too?I specifically said, even though misspelled, " The drive, she blew a .197 ... she's toast."
The UGA OL who died - his family would be the one suing Carter. That's why I said, "let him pay some of those millions to the family of the other player killed."
Dropped as soon as the HC is no longer there.Personally, I think all championships in all sports should be dropped after 5 years. You worry at all about the past it means you’re not focused near enough on the present or future.
As I said above, in all states all drivers of a race can be found criminally culpable for accidents that arise out of the race, even if it wasn't your car. I suppose it's a "takes two to tango" thing. The other car doesn't engage, you don't have a race, you don't have the speed, you may not have an accident. Shit, she was going 104 mph, blowing a .197. That two people lived is unreal.how can they sue Carter when it wasn't him who was driving? Is there a law in GA that makes him culpable? Like why did he let the young lady drive if she was drunk? ehh man this to me is nothing like what's going on right now with the Alabama basketball player, where I can see the family of the victim suing in a civil case AND winning
i can see an argument, but who is to say she didn't suck him into a race? It's a tragedy, families shouldn't be suing each other over dumb actions of their children.. but I've seen what happens to parents who lose children was too early in life..they try to make someone pay..it's sad.As I said above, in all states all drivers of a race can be found criminally culpable for accidents that arise out of the race, even if it wasn't your car. Her BAC was .197. That's really high.@WhosYourDawggy you keep saying "she blew a .197"
She didn't blow anything, that's the screening they got from her toxicology because she died.
It's in his best interest to get this handled as fast as possible. Doesn't want it lingering after he is drafted or the NFL can punish him.Carter turned himself in last night and posted bond, which was only 4K.
Not his fault some hooker the school hired to bang recruits cant drive drunk.I doubt it. He didn’t crash the car that killed the staffer and the player. The staffer that was killed was driving the car and was over twice the legal limit.
He’ll get some kind of punishment for reckless driving and lying, but I doubt he serves any real time
Carter showed great decision making by not letting her drive his car.. I can see the Bears sticking with him at 1 now--KiperNot his fault some hooker the school hired to bang recruits cant drive drunk.
He can drive drunk, get away, and only get a wreck less driving citation. I'm inCarter showed great decision making by not letting her drive his car.. I can see the Bears sticking with him at 1 now--Kiper
The idea that Carter was work ethic issues is absurd. I get the rest, but that's nonsense. The dude literally could have stopped playing after he got injured this year, and he worked to get back. There isn't anyone at UGA who worked out with him, played with him, or coached him who would agree with that. This sounds like a team that is just a few slots away from getting him and they want him to fall to them.
A source from a team that is picking high in the first round and is at a team that is very strict on character said Carter is almost off their board regardless of the result of the incident. Carter already had make-up concerns, so they had worries about his character and work ethic. That source said he doesn't think their team will want to deal with Carter's lack of work ethic and poor decision-making.

I just read the article and there is some stuff that seems right - going to have to be sure he isn't charged with a higher offense. But the sentence that teams are worried about his production are absurd.
1. UGA rotates more than any other CFB team. We are loaded on the DL. You don't have someone like Carter in there all the time to pad stats.
2. We were low across the board on sacks, which the article brings up. But that is schematic. He was often double teamed so that others were free to rush. It's just a line written by someone who doesn't follow UGA FB.
