the "lead in" concept? i dont watch WWE because USA has Law and Order SVU on right before.
they can lead in Ohio State Michigan with a game Inidiana vs Purdue or Maryland vs rutgers and no one is gonna give half a shit.
I can't believe you watch the WWE. How old are you 13?

you think only 13 year olds watch it? this is a weird take especially from an SEC fan

You really don't understand the economics of sports television if you deny "lead in" because you don't do it.

I would say most intelligent people don’t watch it after high school.

I could never take seriously any adult who is a pro wrestling fan. If you are watching for the comedy, then that's okay. But if you really get into it because you want your guy to win, we'd run out of things to talk about in 30 seconds, I am sure.

majority of games in the afternoon or later on the west coast being broadcast on networks other than ESPN get local fill time between games. these shows talk about local news, local fluff like Seattle Refined or Evening where they talk about local restaurants and a dog at the mariners game and a Pike Place Market psychic chicken.
no but yeah lead in shows got it. college gameday that ends at 9 am local time is a great lead in show for the 7pm FS1 game.

this is also a weird take. what i enjoy as entertainment somehow means that in life i should be taken less seriously? that if you came to see me in the hospital for me to do what i do im suddenly less credible due to watching wrestling? that any knowledge i have about something is now less. come to the PNW and i suggest places to go things to see but nope he watches wrestling so those things must not be good.

I was actually kidding, I am not very judgmental. Quick story:

We played UNC in Atlanta for the Kick-off Classic in 2016. One of those ComicCon nerd conferences was going on at the same time. I was on MARTA heading down to the Georgia Dome and two twin brothers about 60 years old were dressed up like Transformers. One was Bumble-bee or something like that, and other a blue tractor rig. These were fancy ass costumes, had to cost a ton. I'm looking at them and starting to judge them ... the hell are two grown men doing dressed up in costumes. Suddenly it dawned on me that I was heading to a stadium where I would be barking all night as a game was being played, and some of my brethren would be on all fours, acting like they were pissing on a fire hydrant. I can honestly say that I have been way less judgmental ever since that day.
