Success is now measured in making the CFP. Example: Top recruit - Mizzou, K-State and Wisconsin have had three 9 win seasons and are recruiting this kid. We have six consensus top 200 recruits in the 2021 class, all of whom could have pretty much chosen their schools.

It's also weird how you measure success as "reaching the college football playoff." I think most recruits would consider Russell Wilson, TJ Watt, and Aaron Donald as more successful than some random starter at Clemson. And those guys, who are debatably three of the best five football players on the planet, all played for Paul Chryst.

Are you talking the B1G network? Yeah, if you are in the B1G conference footprint, it may be included in your cable TV package you pick.
Nationally televised are the games on Fox, CBS, ABC, etc.

What is the last nationally televised prime time game that Nebraska has had?

With the division Nebraska went to -- the only time they will get a big nationally televised game is if they face a Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan in a crossover. That isn't even guaranteed, as actual rivalry games are. I think that hurts Nebraska a lot, as kids want to be on those nationally televised games.

Nebraska would be better off trying to get to the other division. They'd take their lumps to start, but I think it'd help them in recruiting and getting back to field top notch teams.
