Falcons- D

They only had 6 selections, and two of those were in the 7th round, so probably not a lot of value there. I’d give it an F if I didn’t think Bijan Robinson is gonna be a stud, but it was still an incredibly dumb pick at 8 overall.

Falcons have a 1000 yard, 5 YPC rookie already on their roster and Cordarelle Patterson at RB already, and with the issues on the o and d lines, and adding to a strength at 8 overall just doesn’t make sense. That pick needed to be either Jalen Carter or an o lineman

I think they did ok in the second and third rounds. The OT from Syracuse was a definite need, just not a fan of a team in rebuild mode trading up when they need as many picks as possible. Zach Harrison was the best pick they made. A lot of talent, just needs some polishing.

And I don’t really know anything about the CB from Utah, but from what I’ve read, it was a decent pick

Lions D

A RB who has never carried the ball over 150 times at 12 is awful.

Followed up by a second round talent MLB at 18.

LaPorta will most likely not be as useful as Hockenson, who brought back a lower 2nd than was used to draft a new TE from Iowa.

Brian Branch was great value where they got him. And their best pick of the draft imo.

Hooker will be a nice backup with upside. Someday. But that day won’t be until late in the season since he’s recovering from knee surgery.

Brodric Martin is a massive human. And prolly has never played against an NFL caliber offensive lineman. He may occupy space effectively. Maybe. Will never be a factor.

Colby Sorsdal most likely gets time on a practice squad. Don’t see him playing.

Antoine Green may make the team. Since the team is short on receivers thanks to DraftKings.

I like UDFA Mo Ibrahim better than most the picks. Really disappointing return for a team that had the 6, 18 and two seconds coming into the draft.

The return on Swift was laughable.

Bengals B

They drafted their needs but I’m not crazy about all their choices. Overall I would say they were conservative and didn’t make any mistakes but their draft pick position didn’t do them any favors.

Don’t know the guys but I trust KC’s Reid. Good at finding talent. A+

Well, we didn’t have a pick until the third round and then used our second pick on a kicker.
I’d have much rather had your kicker than the DT we took ahead of him.

Thought it was a great pick tbh. Skoronski at 11 and Moody at 99 are two of my top values.

The Packers drafted a lot of projects. Not immediate help in '23 but the chaff will be separated out by '24. .500 or bust.

Off-season '24 should be interesting.

Overall, B

About what I thought. Few, if any, make an immediate impact. All the receivers they've got won't be easy to grade, while trying to figure out at the same time if Jordan Love is anything other than a seat filler for 2023.

Based on my limited knowledge, I’ll give the Jags a B-.

Picking an undersized LB from UF def seemed like a wasted pick.

It was also annoying that they kept trading back/down when they did.

I’m mostly okay with everything else, I guess.

Bears: B+

Loved the Wright pick, we badly needed an answer at RT since Braxton Jones has LT solidified, and they got the best RT in the draft. I also like that he doesn't like the nasty hoes popping into his Insta DMs.
You can count Claypool and DJ Moore as part of the draft as well, I guess. Both of them will have the full offseason to work with the coaches and Fields, and both are huge upgrades over what we started 2022 with for sure.
Loved the Stevenson pick, he should be an immediate starter on defense.
Big fan of the Roschon Johnson pick as well, as he likely would've been starting at a lot of schools last year but was behind Bijan. He's a physical runner who breaks a lot of tackles and is also very good in pass pro.
Tyler Scott and Noah Sewell were both taken a round after many thought they'd go and also should contribute right away, so I'm happy there as well.

The biggest draft win might be getting Carolina's first for 2024, as there is a very good chance this is a top 5 pick.

Love the CB pick in the first. Lucky that he fell that far.

Really like the LB they got in the 3rd from Sac St. Dude is fast as shit and from everything I've read/watched is always around the ball.

DE from GT seems like a solid pick up as well.

A few IOL. Pats generally do well developing them, so we'll see.

Traded up 8 spots and gave up a sixth to draft a kicker in the fourth. Overall i felt they had a good draft. Borderline A-/B+ grade. But when you trade up to draft a kicker in the 4th, that's a tough one to defend.

I feel like it's not hard to believe that Belichick started the rumor about NYJ targeting Gibbs so Detroit would panic and take him instead of Gonzalez so NE could grab him before Detroit's next pick.

Them getting Gonzalez where they did while also getting a 4th rounder out of it was genius IMO.

Packers: B+

I was surprised that Van Ness was still on the board at 13 and I'm glad they drafted him. I think he has a chance to be a good one.

Then TE and WR in the 2nd round, which were their two biggest positions of need.

I only gripe is that I was hoping they would send some of their lower round picks in a package to move up into the 3rd again for an offensive lineman.

Niners get a C or C- from me. Took a good safety, but then reached on a kicker and a backup TE in rd 3. Our day 3 picks saved the grade from being an D or an F.

I think kickers are undervalued. I have nothing to back that up(to the spreadsheet I go). Too many close games are decided by kickers.

When did this start. In Phila, he drafted a fireman, a stickman to play WR, and other mistakes. He was a great coach but as a talent evaluator, I do not think many Eagles fans would agree.
