Which has no bearing on my point.
"Things crashed and burned soon after the Big 12 split North/South and Nebraska only played Oklahoma every other two years.
Oklahoma still had the tejas rivalry as a source of motivation. Nebraska had Missouri, Iowa St, Colorado, Kansas, and Kansas St."

y'all should have forced ou to keep playing that game.. however at the time KSU was pretty good too

There was no forcing anything in 1-11 votes.

lmaoo the conference didn't vote on it.. it was between y'all and ou.. and to your guys credit they wanted to continue it..ou didn't

Wasting your time practicing for a team you are in no world guaranteed to even play seems stupid. But by all means.
I agree with this unless what you are doing helps in general.

Historically, we ran a session every year for Georgia Tech because they ran the option. For the past few years, we have run a session for UTjr because of the pace they run. Those made sense because we play them every year.

On the UTjr thing, having two DCs really helped there. At some point Smart told Muschamp, you've got UTjr for the next 3 weeks, Schuman has the next 3 games. Champ was obviously involved in the planning for all the games, but allowing him to concentrate on that one game is a luxury we have when you have two really good DCs on staff.

Exactly you play those teams every year so it does make sense. Game planning for a team you have zero guarantee in even playing is just stupid.

You don't think planning for the best team in CFB makes you better against others? Might be why Ryan day is 0-2 vs. Harbaugh with his own players.

Im going to laugh if Michigan ends up losing like 3 regular season games because they were spending practice time on a game they never even ended up playing.

Also we got much much closer to beating "the best team in college football" than Michigan did.......

I'm sure all UGA fans would much rather play Michigan again than Ohio State

am I wrong? @WhosYourDawggy

tOSU was far more competitive.

We beat UM pretty easily, and they got beat by TCU which is amazing to me.
