Crazy, bitch ass weather

geeze you guys are getting baked. We have been getting rain for much of august. I mean swamped. But temps have been seasonable. Which is a hell of a lot better than 100 plus temps.

But it's a dry heat, amirite?

Capped off 3 100+ days here in the inland northwest with two ducking gnarly fires. Both sitting around 8000+ acres with multiple homes gone. Pretty fucked here right now.

I was in a tractor convoy/poker run fundraiser for veterans. I rode in my buddies new 2023 John Deere 370 with air conditioning. It also has a small refrigerator behind the passenger seat.
There were some peeps in Side-By-Sides and riding hayracks. Lots of swamp ass going on there.

A tropical system in the Gulf might enhance moisture in the atmosphere and combined with the heat the hope would be a greater threat of rain next week. Now, let's see what science has to say versus hope. Science says not much of a chance of rain for South Louisiana next week.

We are about 30 miles from the Gulf. We should have plenty of moiture and out the ass humidity. Instead, we have air that is dryer than a popcorn fart and heat from hell. This , as in everything else, is all Texas' fault. Ain't that right DC?
