First game I can remember in a long time(not in pandemic) where I didnt get to hear Yea Alabama after we scored. Game sucked on more than one level.

In the 2021 season, Hurricane Ida forced the OU vs Tulane game to be moved to Norman. Oklahoma went out of its way to make Tulane feel at home. We even painted the Green Wave logo on Owen Field. OU was ranked #2 and Tulane proceeded to scare the shit out of us with OU finally winning 40-35. It doesn't hurt to show a little class.

LOL.. UT fans like myself aren't complaining and the band isn't being little bitches about it either.. Bama declined to send them last year, but our band doesn't give a shit where they sit, will be there Saturday night.

Also this has been happening for years.. UT wasn't the first to start doing this in the Big12..

But hey if Bama and their fans think they just one upped us for this.. fine.. I'll be sitting in the lower bowl with other UT fans who opened our wallets.. not bitch and complain sitting in the upper deck like Bama fans did..

I think the home team should dictate where the visitors sit. Piss on conference headquarters.

IIRC, the Georgia fans bought tickets from Notre Dame fans and sat in the prime seats. If Texas fans want better seats, let them buy them from Alabama fans.

I remember a game at duke since Saban has been here where Bama fans bought all the allotted tickets for the Duke game at Duke, and then some bought season tickets so they could get tickets for the game. They made a profit on the rest of the tickets that year as Duke had a decent team that year.

I will be sitting in my USF season ticket seats next week...although I doubt I will be able to break even on the rest of the tickets. I have some friends that went to Annapolis, I will probably go to that game with them, the rest of their craptastic schedule will probably be a tough sell.

I have seen a similar situation. While I'm not a Dallas Cowboy fan at all, I'd be willing to bet that El Paso has/had a higher percentage of citizens that were Cowboy fans than Dallas does. A local talked Jerry into having a controlled intersquad scimmage in the Sun Bowl one year. It sold out in 1/2 day...for a frickin' controlled intersquad scrimmage. Not a pre season game or a scrimmage with another team.

I say all that as a set up to this. El Paso is 200 miles closer to Phoenix than Dallas. Soooooooooo, when the Cowboys play the Cardinals in Zona, the stadium is usually 60-70% Cowboy fans... most of which are from El Paso. It never fails.
