There will be more than he said, she said. They have phone records and contemporaneous discussions with other people. At the end of the day, he's admitted to wanking off during phone sex with a woman who is not his wife. Pretty sure that right there, that he admitted, is enough to trigger the contract language that terminates the contract. Then in negotiations, they give him an extra $10 million or something to make it go away. Of all schools, MSU doesn't want the media talking about their perv coaches.

Then his wife will get at least half of it all when she kicks him to the curb.

Yeah, consent won’t end up being a factor in his termination.

He lied to investigators. Attempted to pay off Brenda Tracy and attempted to have an affair with her. While she was a paid consultant of the University. He was on an MSU funded trip while he did the specific beating off. He’s done in EL.

Yesterday we were at another game and didn’t pay attention to other scores. On the ride home I got the Sparty game on the radio. But it was already the postgame coaches show. Tuck sounded like a guy who had just saw his dog get hit in the road. I laughed and said Sparty must’ve lost to Richmond. Was shocked a few minutes later when they mentioned the score and the 31 point victory.

His defeated tone made a lot more sense this morning. He must’ve already been notified the story was being made public.

MSU administration can’t catch a break from these stupids fucks they employ.

This is a best case scenario for MSU. Tucker was gifted a contract because of Kenneth Walker -- it is blatantly obvious now.
MSU gets to can him and save $50 million.

Even if it was consensual, the scandal is enough for MSU to fire him with cause (IE a cheating scandal on his wife). He's done either way. IF it is true and he whacked off on the phone without her consent, then it's fucking gross and creepy.

Mel Tucker is a bad football coach with a bad contract. His team was going to be bad this year, he just put a kid back in a game with a clear concussion and now this comes out. Dude it gone.

This right here is where I think the termination becomes legit. Whether it was consensual or not is irrelevant.

Dude… he creeped on a sexual assault prevention advocate, through doing work at a university that just went through a huge public scandal. Even if he thought it was consensual, that’s really fucking dumb.

Coaches get fired for less—actual consensual affairs with university employees being outed. Given the question of consent in this one, the universities history, the creepy vibes of it, no, he’s not getting railroaded.

I like Clay, but unless he is privy to facts we don't have, his take is wrong here. Lying in an investigation is cause enough for termination. Being that MSU is still trying to distance itself from the last fiasco they are not going to chance it. It alreadys appears they waited much to long to take action

I'm not a proponent of cancelling, but Clay Travis deserves it more than anyone else

He's a pretty sharp guy, but has become the "hot take" dude for the conservative side. So, I wouldn't cancel you for cancelling him
