GAME Colorado State @ Coach Prime along with Colorado (18) - 10pm EST - ESPN

CSU was dirty as hell … went from pulling for CSU to not caring.

Give CSU some credit, they made it a lot tougher than I thought after the sunglasses comments.

If Colorado goes winless the rest of the year, this season has already been a success

Couldn’t believe Col St didn’t go for 2 and the win in the first OT. You could see the momentum was gone.

I thought this same thing and I was half asleep in my bed at the time.

Things had to get challenging at some point I guess. They still might make a bowl game.

They have the #3 SoR at this point. They haven't played a great team, but they haven't played a truly awful team either. I think TCU could be a 7/8 win team, and hell it wouldn't even surprise me if Nebraska won the West as crappy as that division is. They've had to bring it every game so far, and I think there's something to be said for that.

3-9 season then

TCU winning 7/8 games and Nebraska possibly winning the west is far more of an indictment on how awful most of the Big 12 and Big Ten West are, not that those two teams are actually good. Also, Colorado State is horrible. They were 3-9 last year and this year isn't looking much better. I have 0 idea who has Colorado with the #3 SoR right now but it's wrong.

I'm not saying those teams are good. But they are respectable IMO. If you look at the top 25 they've played a better schedule than probably 20 of those teams. Yes, CSU was bad last year, but I think they are pretty improved this year. They've also played Wazzu and CU so being 0-2 isn't as bad as the record looks. Again, it's not an amazing schedule, but it's been harder than a lot of top 25 teams have played thus far.

I'm glad State lost.

Colorado refused to lose. Lot of fight in those kids. Comes from a good coaching culture.
