I'm not sure that's actually going to happen. It's great. 1st few episodes are slow, developing the characters, but mid season it gets wild.
I'm waiting on season 3 to drop.
I know. I heard a while back that they would, but I haven't checked into it for awhile. Do you have recent news?I'm not sure that's actually going to happen.
Nothing new either way.I know. I heard a while back that they would, but I haven't checked into it for awhile. Do you have recent news?

As with most things I take interest in that have a historical context I took a deep dive on reading up on this after I watched the first season. How close to the real story is it? I know it is loosely based on the actual events of the team, but how accurate is it?
Same. It has some of the subplot stories dramatized for interest, but it sounds like the actual FBI stuff is pretty spot on.As with most things I take interest in that have a historical context I took a deep dive on reading up on this after I watched the first season.
Obviously, it’s dramatized. But the basis of the story (smart FBI agents whip together burgeoning criminal science into a very successful and impactful department) is very real and dead on with what we see.
They did interview all these killers, including Manson (it was reported as just as brief and pointless as the scene showed).
I will be exceptionally bummed out if it doesn’t continue. The way I read it, last time I looked into it, there are scheduling conflicts with actors, directors, all of the above that throwing this doubt in.
At this point I’m willing to wait as long as they come back to it. It’s an exceptional show.
I read a thing a little while back that showed Netflix doesn't have much interest in carrying original shows more than four seasons as this doesn't attract new viewers. Obviously this isn't that far yet but still is disappointing that the finances lead them this way.As with most things I take interest in that have a historical context I took a deep dive on reading up on this after I watched the first season.

Seems to me that other streaming players might want to gobble these kind of things up. The infrastructure costs to build out the show have already been done by Netflix. It’s dumb to think this way when Netflix also will gobble up any of network TVs cancellation mistakes.I read a thing a little while back that showed Netflix doesn't have much interest in carrying original shows more than four seasons as this doesn't attract new viewers. It is really popular and could be a reason for people to stay with Netflix. however I think this has more to do with the writers and director having other projects right now.I read a thing a little while back that showed Netflix doesn't have much interest in carrying original shows more than four seasons as this doesn't attract new viewers. Problem is that the biggest new streaming options are Disney+ and AppleTV, neither of which would allow this to be on their service. Mindhunter would be amazing on HBOMax though.Seems to me that other streaming players might want to gobble these kind of things up. If I’m a streamer trying to gain share I totally look to sweep these kinds of shows up. I will at least pay a month to check out season 3 of Mindhunter. I’m not loyal on such things.
Ozark is really popular and they are ending it after the fourth season. That was the main show the article was about. It is really popular and could be a reason for people to stay with Netflix. however I think this has more to do with the writers and director having other projects right now.
Probably another thread, but I'm about done with netflix. Can't remember the last time I watched something on it.
Yep it's the model Netflix has already done to pick up shows with cult followings. Maybe these services start swapping shows to get subscribers to follow around.Seems to me that other streaming players might want to gobble these kind of things up. Or Netflix purchases another one and has daddy Netflix feed successful series down to the lower subscription one.Yep it's the model Netflix has already done to pick up shows with cult followings. Maybe these services start swapping shows to get subscribers to follow around.
You son of a bitch, I saw this thread and thought season 3 was announced.on Netflix.
Good shit.
One can only hope that there will be, at the very least, a season 3.You son of a bitch, I saw this thread and thought season 3 was announced.
