Actually, I don't do either. No Dairy Queens anywhere near me. Only a couple here in RI anyway. Carvel? And I think there's only a few in nearby Mass but none in RI. More of a New Yorker thing...

Ah, for some reason I thought Carvel was not just NY/NJ, but was common throughout New England, too.
Anyway, it isn't that I don't love ice cream. I do. A lot. It's that I guess I prefer icecream that is scooped, as opposed to soft serve.
Soft serve is fine for carnivals, and such, but otherwise, no. Kind of like carnies.

Most of the e combo shops I saw kicked out br long ago....must still be thriving in da city for Hu

If you're doing soft serve stay away from any fake ice cream dairy treat and go frozen custard....kohrs ftw
