2023 College Football TV Ratings

So everybody likes the monies these new massive SEC and Big 10 tv contracts bring, but don't like what it actually takes to pay those contracts? LOL

Guessing USC/Colorado will break 12+ million.

Possibly.
They're not up against much in that time-slot and it's an over the air broadcast.

Florida @ Kentucky is on ESPN
Teas A&M @ Arkansas will be on the SEC Network.

Clemson @ Syracuse could get some viewership since Syracuse is (4-0). Especially if USC @ Colorado turns blowout early.

Yeah, no game being on NBC and CBS at that time slot is pretty huge. Those 3:30 slots got almost 6 million viewers last week, which takes away from the Oregon/CU game. My guess is UF/UK does the 2nd best number in that slot.

I'll go with Clemson @ (4-0) Syracuse being #2 since it's on ABC.

Over-the-Air broadcast networks just seem to do better because they're free and there are many people relying on that as opposed to cable, satellite, or streaming.

Colorado once again tops the charts. 4th time in 5 Saturday's they've been the highest rated game.

Colorado is absolutely killing the rating this year.

Normally you can bank on the following:
- Big SEC Games
- Big Ohio State Games
- Big Michigan Games (when they are good if they are like 8-4 ratings fall off fast)
- Big Notre Dame Games
- Big name OOC games
- Texas vs Oklohoma
- P5 Conference Championship games when nothing else is on
- Week Zero big games because everyone is starved for CFB
- Random big games from other conferences like if Clemson and FSU are both ranked

Colorado pulling the numbers they are this year in ALL of their games is just unheard of its an anomaly of epic proportions. Honestly, I'm part of the problem as I've watched them every week (turned away from the Oregon game pretty quickly but the rest have been really good games) and I haven't watched much of Colorado since they ran the Wishbone.

Deion is ratings gold.. but he's also been helped with some brands that usually have good viewership numbers.. Nebraska, Oregon, SC.. but it's something else for the numbers he pulled vs TCU and Colorado St

Interested to see what Stanford vs. CU gets on Friday night. 10:00 ESPN.

i'm actually jealous of UCF.. if my horns pulled this number saturday.. would anyone noticed that we lost??
