NFL would typically get at least 4 games/week like those Michigan/Alabama numbers. Or even better.

OK. So I took a window of three bowls being played at the same time on NYD. i.e. Competing with each other for viewership.



Combined they had 16 million viewers.

That didn't come close to the top 4 NFL games.

Heck, the (stand alone) CFB National Championship game last year only got 17.2 million viewers.



I expect Washington/Michigan will blow that # away this year though, since they'll both be in the same conference next season.

Over/Under at 23 Million?
