Gabby is the man. He might be the best catcher in baseball pretty soon the way he is going. Hope his hand is OK.

The format is not an excuse. If your team can’t stay focused and come out ready to play after a break, it’s on them. No different than the All Star Break IMO.

The best team doesn’t always win. Upsets happen, teams get hot, shit happens. You tip your cap and you work towards next year.
 
I really like the Dbacks lineup and top 2 in the rotation, if they had a third starter with a less ridiculous name, I’d go ahead and bet on them to win the NL. Astros are winning the WS

They aren't even getting to the WS let alone winning it.
 
But also, the season ain’t over for the Braves yet. Being down 2-1 sucks for sure, but there’s worse spots to be in than down 2-1 with Strider and Fried both on regular rest waiting.

The Phillies are the exact opposite. When they go on the road to start a series they always win the first and lose the second.
