You know I like you as a poster, but you are a little over your skis right now.cause you aren't
Meanwhile TEXAS is
You know I like you as a poster, but you are a little over your skis right now.
Texas is an Elite program because of the past, and because you have great alumni support, and make a ton of money. Your program has more potential than almost every other program in the country, and candidly concerns me, a fan of a current elite team more than any other team. If you get things lined up - NIL, coaching, transfer portal - you will be hell on wheels. But, it is unarguable that you haven't matched that on the field since your last NC. You got off to a good start this year, but you stubbed your toe on Saturday. Win the rest of your games, beat OU, and get into the CFP and win. Then you can be Elite today.
For a long time, I had to put up with the phrase, "UGA does less with more than any other team in the CFB." I see that in Texas right now. As hard as it is to believe, if the CFP had been 12 teams from its inception, neither UTs, along with my Vandy, would have made the CFP. Including you as an SEC team, those are the only 3 teams in the SEC that would not have made a 12-team CFP. 43 other teams in CFB would have made a 12-team CFP but not UT. That's almost impossible for me to believe, yet it is true.
Is Texas a blue-blood ... yup. Are they an elite athletic program? Yup, perhaps the most elite. Is their football team currently elite? No, but getting there if they don't screw it up.
Goddamn I laughed hard at this for like twenty seconds.
@Thiefery don't let him talk about Texas like that. Tell him how elite you are.Is their football team currently elite? No
Elite teams have beaten UGA and Bama in the past 5 years... something Michigan knows nothing about@Thiefery don't let him talk about Texas like that. Tell him how elite you are.

What’s this “sir” bullshit? You back in the military?Point well taken.
you wouldn't understand deep south hospitality.. you watch your utep football games on a plateau with a random woman's hand inside your shortsWhat’s this “sir” bullshit? You back in the military?
He’s an attorney. They get called a lot of things…but none of them are nice/polite like “sir”. Cut that shit out.
In the deep south, lawyers are often called Colonel. When I was a kid, people would say, "morning, Colonel" to my grandfather. I thought he was military. Nope, he was a lawyer. So, you don't have to use "sir" but I expect to be called "Colonel" by my lessers here on this board, henceforth. What’s this “sir” bullshit? You back in the military?
