My stomach aches, it turns at the thought, but I am here

I’m not going to attract attention to myself with a new thread but holy shit guys, get off my nuts, I’m chafed on my balls.

Whatever to whatever you guys. Very funny. Enjoy. Oregon wins out and we will discuss in December
Come on OD. Don’t be like that. You’re a “look at us, everyone sucks but us, lol games are won in the 4th quarter *as we enter the 4th quarter where your team is about to win*” kind of jackass.

This “we’ll see when all is said and done” attitude just doesn’t fit you.

That avatar though, it fits you perfectly. Nice ass.

You do this shit knowing it's going to come back in large waves when you lose. Don't act like you haven't dumped on fans of teams when the ducks do win.

Own it and go with it. You will have your day again at some point and can feed it back then.

Until then

He posted remaining schedule.

Oregon's > > > Texas.
I get that, but they won't just look at the remaining schedule when they decide who goes. They will look at the entire schedule. If Bama keeps winning, they will have a win @Bama that will carry a lot of weight. Plus UT is a Blue Blood and Oregon is not. As a fan of a non-Blue Blood team, it is what it is and you just have to learn to live with it.

Sure, look at the entire schedule. Oregon's SOS is tougher.

Blue blood doesn't matter like you think; voters already have Washington above Oklahoma.

I'm not sure what you think makes Oregon's SOS tougher. It's doubtful that Utah or USC will be ranked by the end of the season as both have several losses staring them in the face down the road. The PAC schedule is always weighted down and no one besides Washington or Oregon look that impressive.

If Oklahoma keeps winning they will rise in the polls and you are a team that struggled with Texas Tech and Texas will probably thump them.

Texas is in if they win out and that is just fact and I'll make whatever avatar bet you want on that.

I haven't looked, but I'll take your word for it on the SOS.

If we are talking spot 4, 1 loss conference champs, Texas v. Ore, I can't fathom they won't take UT. Blue Blood absolutely matters. We've seen it over and over.

I'll be straight forward with everyone here since based off my notifications every single person on this board is highly invested in my opinion and posts. I still do not feel well from the outcome of yesterday's game. My finger tips even get weak as I type and remember how the game ended up. Oregon had that game won, yes I know, but damn college football is a vicious mistress some times.

I still have a headache from the emotional rollercoaster that yesterday brought. My stomach is uneasy at times, but I am here. I am here because I woke up this morning and I saw Bo Nix's post-game press conference. The words this young leader, this young man spoke, was inspirational to anyone and everyone. He is here, he will be there and therefore I, like other Duck fans need to realize, we are all here together! Hearing Nix speak, seeing how we lost in the last second against a top 7 ranked team on the road, Oregon is still THERE.

It's all for the taking. Oregon controls it's own destiny still. Yes, yesterday may sting in the moment, but Oregon wins out and they are in the PAC-12 title game, win that or a rematch vs UW and win that and Oregon's still got a spot in the College Football Playoff. It's all still there. Yesterday sucked. But waking up this morning, shaking off the feeling of a loss, and hearing the inspirational words of the young leader Bo Nix had to say and seeing his vision and hearing his heart, is as inspirational as anything to keep pushing forward and keep our eyes on the rest of the season because it is all still THERE.

GO DUCKS!
LOL

You forgot @Bama.

Thinking a 1 loss Texas gets in over a 1 loss Oregon. Just a blue blood thing.
I was going with forward schedule since currently they are in a dead heat. We will see if the committee values that win more than Oregon’s resume - currently the sports writers don’t.

Is Rising supposed to come back for Utah this season? They haven't played a game with him yet so they could end up being tougher if he returns soon

That headache and stomach ache are otherwise known as a hangover

As I pointed out in another post, I get that is what you are saying, but that isn't what the committee does. They look at the body of work. The @Bama win is going to be big if you are tied with them, and assuming Bama gets to the SECCG. You will then get UT v. Ore and my guess is they go with UT as a Blue Blood who hasn't been in the CFP in a long time.

With respect to the SOS, there are some major assumptions there. Right now we really don't know how good some teams are. In your conference, in the SEC, etc. We do know the B12 does not look very strong - but UT and OU look good and let's see how some of their top teams look at the end of the year. USC looked terrible. Defense is suspect in the PAC. So, let's see what it looks like in 3 or 4 weeks and we will have a better idea of exactly how strong the schedule is.

This is why I have long advocated for the 12 team CFP. We really can't tell how good one conference is compared to another. The SEC has gotten the benefit of the doubt for a long time, but they look down this year. But, are they? Will they be by week 12? We really don't know. I said earlier the PAC looked really strong. But USC looked bad, especially on D. Washington doesn't play very good D. I still think the PAC looks good this year, but it may not be by the end of the year. It would be a perfect year to get 1 or 2 PAC teams into a CFP and then we could see. Unfortunately, your conference, the B1G, and the ACC fucked that up with your stupid Alliance.

All good points except you are forgetting that Jexas seems always find a way to fart and fall down. I feel they have at least 2 losses still in them, and no point pontificating on who will be this years Kansas. But someone will be.

Forgot to point out that it isn't a thought bruh....yall REALLY DID lose to the Huskies.

It was in the paper and errythang.
