Fucked around and found out....

An Indiana homeowner shot and killed an intruder who allegedly attacked him in his living room, local police said.

Kokomo police officers responded to a home on East Jackson Street just after 8:44 p.m. Sunday over a report of a break-in, according to the department's press release on the matter.

The Beach Boys were singing about Indiana?!

I’m not going to mourn the death of this guy, but don‘t think the officer handled that well at all. He was agro from the outset and escalated rather than de-escalating the situation.
Meh.

We don't know what happened before the video started. Cop did say the guy passed him doing 100mph. Who knows what else went on, how long he'd been asking for him to get out of the car and what was on the guy's record. Then when the perp does get out, cop tells him to put his hands on the car and the perp says, "I ain't doing shit."

I'd need some more information before I cast any aspersions on the cop.

Fair enough. In terms of the guy’s record, he had just been released after doing 16 years for a crime he didn’t commit, so he likely had a reasonable apprehension of law enforcement as well.

I’m of the opinion that speed limits are just money rackets that gives cops a reason to harass the people that pay their salary coming to and from work. If a cop’s tone is ever anything less than sheer gratitude f when speaking to someone that has money taken out of their check to pay the cop’s salary, I’ll never be on the cop’s side for a traffic violation

Pretty much, if I’m paying your salary, you better be prepared to kiss the ground at my feet

Oh. That's that guy? I read a headline about that earlier this week. Seems like it was meant to be.

LOL. Tell me you've never driven in Mexico without telling me you've never driven in Mexico.

I know yer stance, but 100 mph on a thoroughfare is like randomly firing a gun in a suburb. He should be treated as a threat.

Tell me you’ve never been to Texas without telling me you’ve never been to Texas. Neither of those are a big deal.
