A day may come when the courage of men fails, but it is not this day

lol. The only kind of lawyer who would say that big law firms mean nothing, is a bad one. And plenty of others have celebrated this letter as excellent.
Stop, you don't know what you are talking about.

Adults here, go back to the kiddies table.

Oh. I very much do. I stayed at a holiday inn express once. And I’ve seen plenty of actual lawyers break this down. See the UM law prof I linked to earlier. Am I parroting information from lawyers? Yes. Do I know enough about it to know that you’re wrong? Yes. Everything I needed to know about your legal advice was boiled down to when you suggested retaining one of the best firms in the country meant nothing.

While I'm waiting for my Amazon Delivery, I might as well...

usc Washington Oregon and ucla coming into the conference next year like

You continue to be stupid. At no time did I say that hiring one of the best firms means nothing. What I said is that hiring a really good law firm isn't the voodoo magic you think it is. That's because (1) the other side will also have really good lawyers, (2) lawsuits almost always are decided on the facts, not the quality of the lawyers (assuming, of course, there aren't terrible lawyers on the other side), and (3) I clearly stated that no law firm that is going to be involved in this is going to be scared of the other side's lawyers - that's just not how it works no matter how much you want it to.

You came on here giddy with excitement that your school hired a well-known law firm as if that meant you had it won for that reason. I have deconstructed that argument and made you look like the fool you are. You are out of your league on this ... take the umpteenth L you've had in these threads and move along on this.

Lawsuits are not decided by facts. They’re decided by which side can make a better argument using them, while simultaneously cutting down those arguments of the other side.

I came here giddy with excitement because Michigan has never fought back like this. We’ve never opened our pocket books and hiring this kind of firm means the B10 was going to lose. And they seemingly have.

It’s gone exactly how I said it would. And you still are holding firm that it doesn’t matter.

lmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaao. What we said was true

Either one.

It's obvious both entities got their arguments from MGoBlog just like you do.

They distract by conflating two separate things that are Not.The.Same.

You'd better hope those atty's don't go into a courtroom treating the judge like he/she's dumb. Judges don't like that.

Either one…did not. The official letter was very much unique because they had unique information the public did not.

There are some actually pretty well established lawyers on the mgoblog site. So much so that they do regular posts/segments on there. It’s not surprising for someone to take a great legal argument and use it.

Harbaugh and Michigan's lawyers are mental gymnastics hacks. An ambulance chaser would run circles around them.

Everyone get's their legal advice from Football message boards and blogs!

Oh, my, you poor deluded thing. No wonder you are so excited. You actually think that with all the facts against you, a law firm can make a difference. I am literally laughing so hard ...

You can make all the arguments you want, and they can be great arguments, but if you don't have facts to support you, your big, fancy, voodoo law firm can't help you. You do realize that large law firms lose cases all the fucking time, right? Why? Because they have to work with the facts they are presented with. It's why most cases settle ... otherwise you think the big, fancy law firms would be able to overwhelm all the other law firms and win all the trials just because they are big.

The way it has gone is exactly as everyone said it would go - the conference gave their proposed action on Sunday, and then gave UM until EOD Wednesday to reply. Now the conference is deciding what to do based on the facts they have, applied to "law" meaning the B1G's rules and regulations. That's it.

Ah, now I see it ... you are getting all your shit from the clearly unbiased UM fan lawyers. Oh, boy ...

“Facts” lol. You poor deluded thing. Rumors are not facts.

This isn’t going how everyone expected. People expected Harbaugh to be suspended Monday. This is going how everyone in Michigan said it would.
