It's a minor slap on the wrist for the B1G to suspend Harbaugh for the final 3 Saturdays of this regular season... but they levy no punishment/discipline (so far) on the top guy, Michigan AD Warde Manuel...

But... I suppose the B1G hopes that this 3 Saturday suspension for Harbaugh looks good in the eyes of the NCAA, and that the NCAA will possibly be more lenient towards Michigan when the NCAA investigation is completed?

He takes that 30 million a year offer espn gave them (before the B12) the PAC likely survives forever and most likely doesn’t lose any members besides LA for a few years. But that Stanford professors said they could get 50, lol.

It was obvious eventually Oregon and Washington were going to do whatever they could to land in the B1G.

I believe the term is "ass whoopping" - they basically gutted the big, scary, law firm's arguments pointing out very diplomatically that they were lying. LOL. That was embarrassing ... almost as much as plagiarizing from a sports board.

Michigan , we would just go ahead and let y’all come on down to the SEC but two things that we DO NOT tolerate are:

1. Teams that can’t beat Big12 teams in the playoffs and
2. Cheaters, so….:noidea: No can do.

Some are saying on other boards that this almost reads like a negotiated settlement. UM knows they are wrong, the B1G knows they don't want to totally eliminate the chance to be in the CFP. Protracted litigation isn't in anyone's best interest. We suspend Harbaugh now, but you get all your ill-gotten wins, and if you can make it without cheating any more you can get into the CCG and the CFP.

lol. “We’re punishing the institution by punishing an individual” is a hilariously bad argument. They don’t have the authority to punish the individual and thus were forced into that nonsense. They’ll be shredded in court
