You’ve provided no justification for any of it, because there is none. You just say things.

We're also entering fairly unprecedented territory here with as many undefeated teams as there currently are. I think the closest comparison was Ohio State jumping 2 loss Penn State into the conference title game, in spite of losing to Penn State in season.

SOS is not the only determining factor here. And I think Michigan blowing out teams, in spite of a weaker schedule, is going to play into this. But again, no one knows. The team Texas lost to is 1-2 in the last 3 weeks.

That's not a close comparison at all. Penn State had two losses. If SOS wasn't a determining factor Michigan would be at #1 right now.

It would be going against 9 years of precedent for an 11-1 team to get in over a 12-1 team.

Someone tries to bring up the "Well Ohio State got in over Penn State that year!' argument every year. It never fails.

But that is where the nuance comes in. tOSU is 20 spots better than UGA for SOS. But, UGA has 2 better wins than tOSU (Ole Miss and Mizzou v. ND and PSU).
To be honest that doesn’t do much for me. I think OSU should be slightly over Georgia, but not one a have a big issue with

I don't think there's precedent for that many 1 loss teams competing for the final spot. And who you lost to, when you lost to and how you lost has always factored in more than conference titles. The more important thing IMO is the extra win in the CCG.

All I'll say is that there's no precedent...until there is. 9 years isn't a long time.

I'm the same ... I could have gone either way.

Sure, but you also need to have good wins. Michigan would have one. Texas and Oregon, in this scenario would have 3/4.

FSU isn't getting love.. from what i listen to (Klatt, Wetzell, Mandel, etc) from pods.. is that FSU has a weak schedule.. which i don't think is the case.. that clemson team fought really hard as did LSU before getting smoked.

Udub and Oregon are getting a lot of love, probably because this is it for the PAC.. Bama is starting to get more and more love though.. and it's warranted.. from the worst Bama team in a decade to now looking to take on UGA in the CCG game.
"Fought hard?" Really? You one of those guys that looks at what their ranking was at the time you played them? The fact is that Clemson is a 4 loss team that would get smoked by anyone in the top 10. LSU can score a lot of points against a team with no D, and they don't have a D. They would get drummed by anyone in the top 10. Those are two wins that aren't very good except by reputation of the teams they played.

i dont know if anyone else brought it up but there is a chance for

Ohio State beats Michigan and wins Big 10 to move to 1.
FSU wins out and moves to 2.
Oregon wins out and moves up to 3.
Alabama to beat UGA and have UGA fall out Bama moves up to 4.

we would have the same 4 teams from the first Playoff in reverse standings

I hope this happens

13-0 Michigan
12-1 FSU (Lost ACC Ship)
12-1 Washington (Lost Pac-12 Ship)
12-1 Oregon (Pac12 Champ)
12-1 Alabama (SEC Champ)
12-1 UGA (Lost SEC Ship)
11-1 OSU (Lost to Michigan)
12-1 Texas ( Big 12 Champ)
12-1 Louisville ( ACC Champ)

12-1 UGA (Lost SEC Ship)
11-1 OSU (Lost to Michigan)
12-1 Texas ( Big 12 Champ)
12-1 Louisville ( ACC Champ)
Then you would be looking at
1. Michigan
2. Bama
3. Oregon
4. Texas

12-1 UGA (Lost SEC Ship)
11-1 OSU (Lost to Michigan)
12-1 Texas ( Big 12 Champ)
12-1 Louisville ( ACC Champ)

That's easy. It would be Michigan, Bama, Oregon & Texas

It’s November football. I hope it isn’t Texas, but at least 1 team is going to have a WTF upset.

W really haven’t had many this year. So far it’s just kinda played out how the pre season predicted.

That big fella with the beard on the halftime show just spoke of one of my points. What if Alabama beats Georgia like 27-24 in double overtime in the SEC champs game? They both get in?
