UM folds ... accepts punishment

Truthfully, the big bad law firm did exactly what I said they would do ... they told UM, "You're fucked, and there isn't anything we can do." I made this point the other day - a good lawyer is one who will represent you to the end but will tell you objectively that you don't have a chance. Maize went at me about what an idiot I was.
They were about to destroy the big ten in court. But Harbaugh did what he thought was right for his team.

I was right. The law firm was there to fight but Harbaugh decided to personally take the media attention away from the kids. A true hero. Now they can focus on one thing.

when was the media's attention towards the players (not kids)

Good. Move forward, don’t get stuck in neutral.

Glad it’s over.

One of my clients back in the day was BellSouth. I handled all their auto defense cases when their trucks hit people. You'd be surprised how often that happened. Most often they were a fault. After the investigation and discovery, I told them so. We most often settled. When we did try a case, it was to see if we could minimize the amount of the damages. We almost always stipulated liability.

One case we decided to argue liability as well as damages. Most enjoyable trial I ever 1st chaired - week long jury trial, rear end collision, plaintiff was bat-shit crazy. We won a defense verdict. But, our job was to honest with our assessments. That is what happened here.

The facts always win out.

I'm happy they upheld it -- This puts so much more pressure on Ohio State and Ryan Day now. Imagine the embarrassment if you lose to your sworn rival a 3rd straight year, but also lose to them without their HC.

Going to be a great game.

The NCAA isn't even done investigating the cheeseburger thing from earlier this season. Apparently UM has the FBI up there ass about that assistants computer crimes.

I don't think it's over

Now we shall see what the NCAA will hand out. Curious why a UM assistant deleted his Twitter account just weeks away from early signing?

This is actually the best way to approach it if you are a UM fan - I mean other than the 180 pages before. Now this does put the pressure on tOSU to win.
