UM folds ... accepts punishment

Now we shall see what the NCAA will hand out. Curious why a UM assistant deleted his Twitter account just weeks away from early signing?
Yeah, that was a dumb move. First, you just don't do that. The NCAA has rules on that as do all courts. Second, it's not like they can't find it all archived.

UM going to get hit with a LOIC. It's going to end badly up north.

their class is gonna go pfft

it's 15th right now

let's see where it is in February

They were about to destroy the big ten in court. But Harbaugh did what he thought was right for his team.
Just shut the fuck up, dimwit. If they were going to destroy the B1G, they would have done it. That would have been right for the team. But, because he is guilty and the B1G acted appropriately, taking the punishment is the right thing to do.

This is actually the best way to approach it if you are a UM fan - I mean other than the 180 pages before. Now this does put the pressure on tOSU to win.
(Taking off troll hat)

And it allows him to coach during the week to prepare, likely limits any future big ten action this season and allows him to coach uninterrupted should they make the playoffs.

I like the more subtle trolls. Never go full OD.

The hero thing is definitely a troll. But I think he really believed most of the shit he was spouting before that. If you went to Mgoboard for the fireworks like I did it was literally the same shit they were all saying there

I suspect that some may decommit or hit the portal once the NCAA and FBI finish this investigation. And it just seems that more stuff keeps coming up each and every day. It's crazy.

So the B1G lets Michigan off with a wrist slap and we will see what the NCAA does.
Also, now that we know they cheated and Ohio State used those signals let's go after Day while we are at it.

The B1G really does not need to stop until all this criminal activity is uncovered and eliminated.

They need to hire the same investigative team that looked into Cam Newton

I think most of it is out there and I doubt they get hit as hard as you perceive they will as the NCAA has no backbone anymore and the B1G is obviously going to go to bat for one of their flagships. You are just going to have to figure out how to stick something on Indiana or Illinois to distract the news cycle.

You guys are such amateurs. Everyone in the SEC knows if they start sniffing around a big dog you throw a Mississippi school under the bus and move on.

I've said all along that they should have banned them from post-season play. But, under a summary proceeding, I can see that might be fairly onerous. Deserved, but maybe too much to do quickly.

The NCAA will hammer them.

OSU's players will see it relentlessly on social media. They already have to deal with not having beat UM the last two years, now they are going to hear how if they lose to UM without a HC, it will be more embarrassing than losing 3 years in a row.

I'm not shocked the B1G didn't do anything else. They have to dance around TV contracts, sponsors and all of that too so it was unrealistic to expect them to totally drop the hammer. The NCAA on the other hand is not tied down in the same way the B1G as. I think it's clear the hammer is coming. Michigan probably agreed to this so they can eek through the rest of the season before everything completely all comes out.

I wonder if the coach who deleted his Twitter bit on the NCAA supposedly offering immunity to those who spoke up about what was really going on................

I'll believe it when I see it.

Auburn got away with Cam Newton (although they could never find the bodies so they tried)
The lawyers got aTm off the hook with Manziel as they had him dead to rights
Tennessee practically threw themselves under the bus to get rid of Pruit (they are such idiots just pay the dude)

You will probably see some games forfeited, so many years on probation, and maybe a few scholarships but not a postseason ban and nothing they can't overcome. They will probably give Harbaugh a suspension but include the games he already sat out and ban the assistant with a show cause for 5 years.

I'd be shocked if Harbaugh coaches at Michigan again after this season.

Nothing has come out about this in forever and UM just got a commitment from a 4 star QB for 2025.

Cracks me up how desperately OSU fans want to believe everything written on the internet. And the FBI has absolutely nothing to do with the football program -- it has to do with Weiss going into the emails of UM employees, who he was having a relationship with.

I wouldn't. I would be shocked if OSU keeps Ryan Day though, if he loses to UM for a 3rd straight time without Harbaugh on the sideline.

Harbaugh will stay at UM as long as he wants to be there. UM isn't firing him, no matter how badly OSU fans want to see that.
