UM folds ... accepts punishment

im not sure this means anything. I hope the evidence was more concrete than that. The drive in question had a ton of other stuff on it. So it’s not like it’s only purpose was this.
It was pretty clear at the time (other than to michigan fans) that it meant a lot. Obviously we've seen that was the case.

This is a total out for them. They know they can beat Maryland without Harbaugh, but now if they lose to Ohio State they can make the excuse that it was because they didn't have Harbaugh. The committee will probably eat this excuse up and put Michigan with Harbaugh as coach in the playoffs.

Definitely over a 12-1 Oregon.

Guess we're finding out 1. who knew and 2. why they stopped

No everyone knew. What you are seeing is an attempt to publically show they are taking action hoping the NCAA will accept their self-imposed corrections.

It is like I said above in another post you'll see assistants getting fired and taking the blame in an attempt to cover Harbaugh's ass.

Ryan day threw a dart at the board. He knew if he could get the ncaa to look into any massive organization they’d find something. Touché to him.

Partridge fired for trying to cover up for stallions. Not linked to prior knowledge. Scheme apparently funded by booster.

This is ridiculous. Money from boosters and evidence deleted from computers.

PLAYOFF BAN NOW

It would be a sham for them to take a spot in the CFP at this point. The whole program is guilty. This is worse than I originally thought.

I also have to say. It’s pretty shitty that someone in the ncaa is leaking all this shit.

Money from boosters isn’t illegal. Destroying evidence gets you fired (and it did).

The reason this has changed is because of *new* facts. We now know why the lawsuit was dropped. They had a winning argument before, since it was based on the lone-wolf concept. Once evidence of other coaches gets involved, everything changes.

Though what is odd....he was only re-hired in February. Partridge hasn't even been here a year.
At one point, Connor Stalions credited Partridge with helping get his career off the ground.

I hope he did, that would add some great side story for this Hallmark movie.

Michigan tweeted that they had fired the coach . . . this one wasn't a leak.

Systematic cheating from top to bottom. Your lone wolf theory has been obliterated.
How so? This in fact supports the theory once again. There’s no evidence that anyone knew this was going on, beyond stallions and a booster.
