I would not be surprised if it eventually leaks that some of Smith's contract is funded by big time Spartans boosters/grads such as the competing mortgage company & NBA owners, Dan Gilbert and Mat Ishbia.

I wasn't even mad at some of the plays he was making. I think he had two freak like 1 handed grabs WHILE being tackled against us. On one of them we even tried to purposefully take the PI penalty and he still caught the damn ball lol.

I like how Knowles contained the big plays this year but I'd like a touch more aggressiveness.

Report is that the McCords did not like their convo with Day over the weekend.

It might explain why Day was so wishy-washy about whether McCord would be the starter going forward.
